Does the job; be prepared to do 3 coats!

It goes on easily but not very even and even after two coats it didn’t cover the original color. I didn’t have time to do a third so I went with it. Turned out fine. I’d seek out a better quality primer in the future.

This is a two-coat paint for good coverage.

Painting concrete and drywall that had been painted many years ago. Using brush and roller it required 2 coats to cover well. Seems a little thinner than Kilz but the VOC is less noticeable.

Interior exterior?

I would highly suggest that if you’re looking for an exterior that you do not use this it’s practically interior very light watery and always check your location because when you order check because my phone ordered from a different store ,therefor I had to wait a day .i do give them thumbs up on rush delivery 👍 But! Doesn't perform well

This requires multiple coats to evenly cover old paint for a uniform base for your new color. Same thing when prepping new drywall. This wastes both money and time. Worst of all, even A YEAR after topcoating with brand new, same brand latex, the topcoat can just peel off; they're not adhered. PASS.

The Paint is good but I ran out with just about 100 square feet unfinished. Lowe's had no more 1 gallon buckets in stock and had none ordered. The Lowe's employee in the paint department was uninterested in trying to get any ordered. It was like there is none scheduled to come in to the store. There is nothing I can do about it. I had to go to the local Sherwin Williams Paint dealer to buy another gallon of white paint. In the future I will just go to Sherwin Williams the price is compara...

Fume free primer!

This primer is fantastic! It doesn’t have an awful smell - I have asthma and other primers cause it to act up. This primer barely even has a noticeable scent. It covers well and worked great. I would highly recommend it for fume free painting 😊

Buy the Kilz….

Tried this and didn’t do its job covering a lavender paint. Was very surprised that it didn’t hide well as it says “high hiding”. It was way too thin. Had to do two coats of this and then another two coats of the actual paint color I wanted. It was a lot of work. Won’t purchase again. Buy the Kilz.

Very Bad Primer

It seemed to go over my previously painted wall ok, but putting Sw Showcase over it proved to be basically a disaster. The primer shows through, there is streaking, neither brushing nor rolling was successful. Now I need to figure out how to fix this. Very disappointing.

Its fine for basic primer

This did fine for a basic primer on OSB garage walls. The rusty nail heads still showed through so I would recommend an oil base primer for rust spots and bad stains.
