Sound is a little muffled to me.

Other than the sound, this thing is amazing! Build quality ☆☆☆☆☆ Video Screen ☆☆☆☆☆ Sound Quality ☆☆☆ Ease of set up ☆☆☆☆☆ Excellent device. Gorgeous screen Great easy to see size. After the little trouble setting up things. Mainly due to my network security being a bit to protective. Setup was very fast and easy to do. It is nice to see what you say on screen as it is said, so you can tell if Google assistant is hearing you correctly. The sound quality is pretty good for such...

Google still has a lot to learn, but getting close

As to the initial unboxing and setup; it is impressive. The whole thing is fairly weighty and Google/Nest really did their work making you feel like you're opening something fancy. Every item in the box has a recessed notch, or compartment, or retaining slots inside the box to keep them from moving around. The power wire even has something akin to spark plug wire clamps/retainers that hold the cord in perfect loops. Like I said, fancy. There's a thick screen cover on the unit that will need to b...

Make Your Home Smarter!

As a homeowner with an Alexa enable device in practically every room of the house, I was not sure if the new Google Nest Hub Max would be much of an enhancement. I was wrong. The Nest Hub Max has a 1280x800 10-inch display. The display picture appears crisp and bright. I have the unit on a table next to the kitchen. It can pull up recipes and show instructional videos while I am attempting to make something edible. It can also rotate through family photos to make it more home friendly when not d...

Awesome Home Assistant, Will Keep Getting Smarter

This thing is an amazing piece of hardware. It looks like an iPad attached to a Bose speaker, and performs pretty much like that too. If you are a Google user, with pictures backed up to Google Photos, and use Google Calendar and other Google services, the Nest Hub does a great job of using all of that information to present you with your daily agenda each morning, scroll through your pictures on the display, and play music from your Google Play Music account, Spotify, or Youtube Music. And a...

Great, Versatile Product

I spent a good week or so playing with this product a lot and putting it to actual use. I have to say, I really like it. I wasn't really interested in getting one of the voice command devices but this one is pretty neat. So I'll start with the more common functions, just asking it for things. It works great. I asked for weather updates to see if it was a good day to wash the car, I asked it to show me movie trailers, and I asked it to play a lot of music as I paint my living room. The sound qual...

Awesome Smart Display

My home is pretty heavily invested in the Google ecosystem (multiple Home devices, Android TV, Nest Thermostat and Protects), so I was definitely intrigued by the new larger Smart Display, I’m always looking to make my home smarter. The Nest Hub Max replaces the original (smaller) Home Hub in my kitchen. The obvious difference between the original Home Hub and the new Nest Hub Max is well, it’s bigger (7” vs 10”). The larger footprint definitely makes it feels more at home on a kitchen count...
