Awful customer service

After having our yale lock a little short of two years it started draining batteries after maybe 3 days. We reached out to Yale customer support and after a lot of back and forth they said they would send us a new lock. About 3 weeks went by and probably $30 in batteries and we still hadn't gotten the new lock so we reached out again. Nightmare setup with existing Nest products

If you already have an existing Google Home ecosystem, under absolutely NO CIRCUMSTANCES install this yourself. I am very technical, and have easily setup a Nest Themostat, Nest Hello, about 10 misc google speakers & displays around the house. No problem. Not the Easiest Install, But Awesome Lock

We installed the lock so that we could give care workers access to the home to care for my elderly Uncle without having to provide a physical key. The lock installed without modification to door, and the bolt could be shut by hand, but the battery powered motor could not close the deadbolt. Had to use a file to widen the bolt hole to allow the lock to fit so that there was no friction for the motor to open/close the lock. Nest does not connect with no support.

I had one of these that worked for 3 years. So I bought another for a new property, however, the Nest will not connect to the internet no matter what I do. And it is too late to take it back because it is already installed. It is very expensive and should work, There is no Nest Support available.

Missing Features.

We have a Schlage smart lock on out door going to the garage and it is great, but it was too big for the door leading to the door leading to the deck. I opted for this smart lock, I mean it's made by Yale and carries the Nest name!!! It has to be GREAT right??? Easy to install.

Only issue is that Google Home can't unlock it. The older lock on the other door can be unlocked by google home and using the pin. You might need to ream out the deadbolt hole in the door though if it's older.

Absolute garbage

I've had this lock for a few years now for a property I manage remotely and it is constantly going offline. The WIFI is fine, the placement of the hub is fine. At least once a week it goes offline, which usually requires a reset of the devices. It frequently tells us the batteries are low, even though we just replaced them and when we test the batteries they are at full power.
