Defective and impractical

Google bricks these things with faulty updates

Hub Max, which I had for 15 months, had been my favorite device until I woke up one morning to the screen being stuck with the G logo. I rebooted, the same. Screen goes dark

I have 2 of these the 1st generation which is still working fine and the 2nd generation which started to get a dark or shaded screen then it just got darker and started to blur out the background now you can't see anything. I hadn't even started using this new one until after a year after purchase so it's out of warranty. I loved using the nest hubs just wish both were working .

Its works great with the NEST CAMERA.

It took a bit to get it set up. Maybe I did something wrong but things were not obvious, little instructions, it was not connecting. But then it all magically worked. Buy a different screen if you want live monitoring

Streaming Wyze cam to Hub is extremely glitchy. Crashes the hub daily. Freezes for 15 seconds at a time every minute when it is "working" on the screen. Voice commands work well, but I needed live streaming and this package doesn't solve that problem, tho being sold together would mislead me to believe. Good Products Separately - Disfunctional Together

I think both products are good. I like the google hub and I like the products that Wyze makes... for the most part. They do tend to be finicky and lose connections from time to time though. Also, if you are looking for a camera that works well within a proprietary app then Wyze is great but its integration sucks between the different google, apple, and amazon eco systems. Disapointed but will work.

For something bundle and sold by Wyze I expected more intragration. While it is possible to view the cameras and even the sensors it is not easy to get to and does not show multiple things at the same time. Ideally Google would add an app at work the same or similar to the app on the phone, that would be more useful and wouldn't take a whole other set up. No instructions on linking your wyze products to Google hub. Which is what I bought a package of. Once I went to YouTube to find a video it was slightly easier yet still confusing on what was being linked. Slow

Nest hub is able to view my Wyze cameras, play youtube videos, listen to Spotify, and control my Nest thermostat and smart plugs. However, the processor and RAM are not sufficient to run the apps properly and I have had to restart the Hub numerous times as it will get "stuck" when transitioning from the clock screen to opening the apps menu.
