This washer failed in less than two years of purchasing. It started making a weird noise when spinning, and then it wouldn’t spin at all. It is so unfair, specially in today’s economy, to spend hundreds of dollars in a useless machine. Just get an old type washing machine with agitator (or without depending on preference) and you’re good to go for many more years and it will be easily and affordable replacement parts for those.
Not reliable - get the warranty
We bought this Washer 18 months ago and it has failed. The hoses started leaking onto the inverter which caused the whole washer to not work. It does a great job at cleaning clothes but I am disappointed the washer only lasted 18 months. Lifespan of 2 years - Don't Get w/o Warranty
I recommend not to buy unless you plan to be under warranty for 2+ years or expect to pay over $250 in parts to possibly have it fixed (which didn't happen to me). Similar to the other reviews- It was great until about 11 months in when it stopped going into spin mode because the interface went out. Great washer for the first 2 years.
In August of 2023, I purchased the GE UltraFresh Vent System Stackable Large ( 4.8-cu ft ) Front Load Washer ( Sapphire Blue ). The color hooked me. Starting in March of 2026 my family of 3 has had multiple problems. We have replaced the main control board, the drain pump motor, and the door latch. Now this week I have a H2O supply error. The worst
So we get this washer , big one, it has this beautiful big paper 10 yearss warranty, advertised to be made in America and then for few months works properly, till it stops to drain the water ... we called the company someone fix it and then few months back it went to the same issue but when turned on it suddenly stop and state end cycle. And the water inside it is full . I don't have the insurance on it but absolutely one of the worst item to buy. I thought ge was better.

Gave us trouble early on
Was excited to get a new front load with the microban gasket to prevent mold. Within 6 months it was already full of mold around it. I always leave door open and do laundry daily. I do not understand how this happened. It also had trouble draining water out of the drum and stopped mid cycle and didn’t transition into spin and drain.

I bought this washer as a set about 1.5 years ago. It looked old really nice, however with more than a few items it can be loud and want to walk during spin cycles. Additionally it has stopped during a cycle multiple times throwing different error codes each time. Since it is out of the manufacturers warranty window (1 year) I called GE since it has a big sticker on the front claiming a 10 year warranty.
