All conversation stops when its running

very noisy fan that you cannot shut off. it is different from the exhaust fan. There is only one light underneath the previous version had two. The mounts to wall and under cabinet changed even though i bough same model. door is noisy and cheap sounding. Its the 3rd microwave all the same in 10 years. Installer & Product Availability Issues

I had a very frustrating experience with Lowe's regarding what should have been a straightforward delivery and installation. I was initially told the product was in stock and that delivery would be in two days. Before placing the order, I called to confirm everything was on track and was reassured that it was. I bought this unit to replace the exact same one we had that started sparking and flashing. The old ones light bulb under the cabinet failed, I could not replace it because when you tried to turn out the bulb it separated from the base. plus the handle broke off which could not be replaced unless you replaced the whole door. DO NOT BUY! Handle just snapped off

This over the range micro was installed in Dec 2024 and the handle has just snapped off at the top. So disappointing - feels so cheap. AND even though this was installed 1.5 years ago the apartment was empty for 8 months of that time!!! For that reason I cannot recommend. Buyer beware.

It functions fine as expected. However : When you pull it off the shelf make certain the box was not previously opened and taped. Got the first one home no mounting bracket and manual. Realized the box staples were not secure. This one was a return and put back on the shelf for sale. Had to go back and get another. Wouldn’t mind so much but Lowes is 10 miles from my place. Satisfied

Id love to give this 5stars but I feel I havent had or used this appliance enough to really know its quality. It looks appealing. Matches other stainless appliances that arent GE. Easy to read buttons, decent capacity size and power. Priced within my budget. This one replaced a GE so I was able to use the same mounting system, making install easy easy this time. Im using the interior vent which works as expected.

Affordable microwave

I got this microwave on sale for Father’s Day. Great operating machine. The only thing I wish was better was the under Hood nightlight. It’s a little dim and oddly colored other than that. Machine operates very nicely and looks great.

My previous microwave quietly stopped working 2 years after purchasing the house. (Always just past the warranty period!) Appliance guy said it was the motherboard and would be over $500 to fix and under $400 to replace. I wanted to stay in GE family so the stainless tones would match. They do not. So much for quality...

Heating performance is widely variable, i.e. hot one day, luke warm to cool the next for the same food and amount at the same power and time; loud vibrating sound when on. Hope this unit lasts longer than other models by GE.

Quiet Operation

So far this oven performs well. it arrived with damage to the sheet metal at the rear of the oven. I was able to bend and shape it back into place as it was part of the mounting rail and also needed to be able to fit in the space it was going in to. There's really only one con ; The controls , Touching them doesn't work well. The different buttons need to pressed fairly hard in order to reach the desired setting, timing etc. Other than that, the oven operates quietly which is nice. ...
