We purchased this appliance on 7/27/26 to replace the LG that stopped working and have been very happy with it. Even with the size similar to the LG the GE model has more interior room because of it's design being squared instead of curved. The back wall panel being LED lit is a great feature and the level of brightness can be adjusted. The ice maker is great and the large size water dispenser can fill a large Yeti cup. Space and Style
We have just had this GE side-by-side installed and already love it. The freezer side has ample space and easy access. As soon as we opened this side in the store we could see that it did not have the cramped feel that so many side-by-sides of this size have. The food storage size is even larger! Both sides open to 180 degrees and the lighted back wall feature on each side gives this refrigerator/freezer a unique vibe.
Finally - a great fridge!!!
We bought this to replace an LG French door where the ice maker had been fixed three times (finally just quit) the water quit 2 years ago, and the fridge was so loud it served as a white noise machine in the kitchen. I fretted over French door vs. side-by-side and after digging so many things out of the freezer drawer I decided to go with the side-by-side and I'm SO glad. Best refrigerator we have ever owned. Seriously!
We bought this a few weeks ago and I cannot say enough good things about it! It has an amazing capacity, we are a family of 6 with grown sons. We buy a lot of groceries each week and it holds it all and then some. It also keeps things super cold, here in Florida that saying something. NO more soupy ice cream for us. It has such a sleek modern, simple looks too. Could not be happier, wish we did it sooner. No dripping from water dispenser either, like many reported. Just great!
Nice fridge overall
Overall this is a very nice fridge. Spacious and we like the absence of handles on the doors and the interior lighting. The only drawback, and it's been sort of a major one, is that the exterior seems to be very prone to indentations. Our first fridge had a decent dent on the fridge door and multiple smaller dents on the freezer. Lowes was good to exchange but the 2nd fridge has the similar indents. Spacious fridge, great lighting, but it can't cool
I bought this refrigerator a month ago. I have a digital temperature monitor that has thermometers I put in the fridge and freezer, and the display board is magnetically attached to the fridge. I received it on a Tuesday. By the following Saturday, the fridge would not go under 40 degrees and most of the time was around 43 (freezer was fine). Bright Beauty
Our 20 yr old Whirlpool fridge pooped out so we needed a new one immediately so we bought this one. It sticks out a little more that our previous one but it's not a big deal. We love that it still has the water and ice maker and how spacious the shelves are but more important is how bright it is inside. Look's like the coolers in the store. Best of all , it's kitty approved LOL Hopefully it lasts us a while.
Today about 4:50 pm installer came for install new fridge but they told we can’t install new fridge because old fridge has mold,i don’t know if i had clean and good working fridge why i bought new,i moved today to new house and i don’t know what should i do without fridge

We really love the light at the back of the fridge and the thoughtful layout options of the shelves. Makes viewing everything in the fridge a lot easier than our older model. I also love that this is a new fridge that doesn't have wi-fi or an app or any of that nonsense that we neither want nor need to keep our perishable food from spoiling!
Fantastic Purchase But a Slight Issue With the Ice
Love the space in this GE side by side! The ice maker in the door gives additional shelf space in the freezer. Drawbacks are no removable tray on the water/ice dispenser to catch drips and it took 3 days from the date of installation for the ice dispenser to fill with ice. Have also had issues with getting the ice to dispense; it will collect the ice in the canal and then dump a massive amount all at once. No complaints on the refrigerator; tons of room, and LOVE the large door trays ! Also, sad...
