Expensive poor quality product with safety concern
I have this product at home and in about 8 months all the labels are completely erased. The web site and user manual advice to use CERAMA Bryte for cleaning but it peels off the labels. It is an expensive product which should last at least for the minimum warranty period - 1 year - but even in these conditions, GE care support is dismissing as a simple cosmetic issue and made the ridiculous suggestion to use the internet image to guide myself how to use it. Disappointing and Poorly Made
I’m extremely disappointed with this stainless steel cooktop purchased in 2024. From the start, it’s clear that the materials and construction are subpar. The surface scratches alarmingly easily—normal cookware and gentle cleaning left visible marks within days. For a product marketed as stainless steel (and priced accordingly), that’s unacceptable. Just what we were looking for
Covers all the bases for a gas cooktop. The knobs light up when the corresponding burner is on, which is a nice feature. Good variety of burners for special purposes like quick boil or simmer. Creates a good flame. We bought the optional griddle tray which fits perfectly on the left two burners and adds nice flat-top functionality as well.

Disappointed
Arrived with a small dent on top edge. Not happy with how high the grates stand up off the top in comparison to my previous GE Monogram Cooktop. This one is harder to clean bc of all the rubber protectors that are attached to the actual cooktop, not attached the grates like they should be. There are NO SIMMER settings on any of the burners...on the lowest setting on all the burners, is too high for simmering even with pots half way off the burner..

Poor Quality, Safety hazard
I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the gas stove I purchased. Within just 10 days of use, the knobs began to melt. While normal wear and tear is expected over time, this is clearly a manufacturing defect and raises serious safety concerns. Lots of extra space!
I want to give five stars but the knobs are plastic (GE should consider changing) not metal as I hoped they would be. However, overall, I love the five burners, especially during the holidays when I needed it most with all the cooking I did!!! Very spacious cooktop.
