I didn’t know you could fall in love with an appliance until I got this dishwasher. Purchased ~5 years ago and it’s a dream. I could have the dirtiest of plates and pans with 5 day old food stuck on them and it’ll get them perfectly clean and dry every time (except for avocado, it has problems with stuck on avocado). I love the space in it, but it is a little noisy, a price I happily pay for sparkling clean dishes. I had to replace the motor a few months ago but even that was a breeze to do myse...

BAD CONTROL BOARDS
I purchased this dishwasher (GDF630PGM0WW) in JULY 2020, had it for only 5.5 years, rarely used it (2-3 times a month) and the control board went out. The unit is still in great shape, although does not work anymore. I ordered a new control board from GE, received it and decided I didn't want to attempt the very complex repair nor could I find an appliance repair company to take on the task. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS DISHWASHER!!!!

Electronic Issues.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher cleans well and is very quiet. I have had it for about three years. Food particles build up along the bottom gasket and it has to be cleaned often. I have been having a problem now with the power going off. I have to unplug it and plug it back in a few times before it goes on. I just replaced the control board which was supposed to fix it but it didn’t. Not sure what to do next expect to recycle it?

Mediocre at best
Dishwasher is about 5 years old and it is acting up, e.g. random noises, need to reset the dishwasher regularly. Middle rack is also not very sturdy and had to replace the water supply for the middle section as well.

GE should have a recall for power module
We’re incredibly let down by this dishwasher. Like many others, we’ve run into major problems with the circuit board. Initially, flipping the circuit breaker would temporarily fix it, but now the unit won’t power on at all. That’s simply not acceptable—especially considering how little we’ve used it and the trust we placed in GE’s reputation for quality. For an appliance at this price point, we expected far greater reliability. The fact that it failed so quickly suggests a flaw in either the de...

A Dishwasher the Crashes
This dishwasher dies for no apparent reason. It's a known problem that GE won't do anything about. Google it and see the numerous accounts of this exact problem. The dishwasher was super. We loved it, until it crashed. We replaced the motherboard, and worked for another month before crashing again. A couple weeks later, it mysteriously started working again. It worked for two more weeks, and it crashed again. It will not come back to life. We are shopping for another dishwasher right now. Had it...

A Wet Rag
I’ve never been so disappointed in a GE product. In the past, we’ve bought GE products for our kitchen and have been more than pleased; the very reason we went with another GE appliance. This dishwasher’s performance did not live up to our GE expectations. When it arrived we noticed it had a wet residue on the inside. My husband chalked that up to a “factory quality check” before it left the warehouse. We first tested it out using the “normal” and “heated” dry setting. Unfortunately, the dishes ...

Not the best quality.
this was purchased in 2022. The past year there has been problems with the racks, water dispenser, and sensor. The water jet falls off often and has to be put back onto the rack. The rack also does not close properly now. It needs an extra push to close completely. It is poor quality. I hoped the dishwasher would last a long time, but three years in and it falls apart. Lastly, the sensor has been acting up as well. It does not always start the cycle. I get an alert beep. I have to cancel the cy...

No good, quit working after limited use
I’m extremely disappointed with this dishwasher. Like many others, we’ve had serious issues with the circuit board. At first, we were able to reset it by turning the circuit breaker on and off, but now it’s completely dead. This is unacceptable, especially since we barely used the dishwasher and relied on its quality as a GE product. For such an expensive appliance, I expected much better durability and performance. This clearly points to a defect in the design or manufacturing. I urge GE to ta...

Some excellent features, some not so great
We've had our new dishwasher for about a month now. It washes the dishes very well. I typically rinse and wash "difficult" items (like egg) off as I load, but I only run it once a day. I don't run the heated dry, but let things "air" dry and that has worked well for us. The wash temp boost is good, since my hot water heater is at the opposite end of the house, I don't have to run the hot water for a bit to get it hot enough to wash the dishes before starting the machine. Haven't used all the fea...
