It’s fairly loud - and vibrates a good bit(not great balance in motor / fan blade) - had to dent the inner screen to keep from running on the fan housing. It’s fine but not great. Finish is ok but not straight totally. Super thin material (stainless) dents and bends very easily.
Nice hood but improvements in instructions needed
Unit is ver pretty. I used a vendor to install my unit which was vented to the outside. The initial installation did not use the provided diverter to force air to the outside vent. On step 8 of the installation instructions it Indicates that the diverter is needed to properly get the exhauset to the rectangular knock out to connect to a rectangular vent. Vents well, but some details could be adjusted.
This fan moves more air on low than our previous fan did on high, and does it quieter. The Low and Medium settings on the fan can be timed by holding the "Off" button for 4 seconds or so. The fan will then auto-off after 15 minutes. This doesn't work on the High setting. The "High" button can be pushed for 3-4 seconds and it will go into "Extra-High'" for 10 minutes, and then drop back down to "High." The lights are 35 watt halogen with a high and low setting. Didn't understand why I was being charged $79.00 for delivery until I realized that the product was coming from Gilbert. I order a lot by delivery that comes from my store ( S.W. Nice hood, but bulb replacement is a nightmare
I purchased this hood from a local retailer in February 2025. It’s a very nice looking hood, but has a poor bulb design. In January 2026, one of the two halogen bulbs burned out, so I chose to replace both with LED bulbs. Trying to remove the bulbs was a nightmare. I called my handyman and it took him 30 minutes to remove and install both bulbs, because the overall design is just ridiculous. The bulb that originally burned out has been a constant problem. So far, so good!
Very happy with it so far. The light is convenient as a utility light or a "night light." The fan is powerful without being excessively loud. Controls allow flexibility offering multiple fan speeds and brightness settings.

I like my oven range. There is a defect in the lights. A week after being installed. I had a light go out. I’m not sure if it’s a shortage. I youtube to figure out how to get light out because it came with no manual. Once I took light out on right side and put back in, It soo magically start working and then left light went out. I will have to purchase a new set and hopefully both will work at the same time. Otherwise it fit perfect and other functions work good

Very hard to install it
Most tools and materials are not supplied, even no core kit. Unlike the video says 10 minutes, it took hours for 2 people to do it. Plus, the product is returned by previous customer. Bags tore open and some knife-cutting scratch on the hood surface.

Horrible product
This is a horrible product. Starting from the installation. 10 mins installation???? I don’t think so. The brackets were unusable—the screws refused to get in!!! Unusable. We spent 2 wks trying to figure out how to install this ourselves. The bulbs fell down, I put them back as per instructions and one fell and broke —very dangerous btw.
