It heats food and drink fast, and is well made: good design, made of quality parts, and assembled properly with certain quality assurance methods in place. We have owned three of these microwaves, all the same model over the past ten years. Love the user interface and controls - reason we have returned to this model. The first couple lasted many, many years. We loved the size, usability, and reliability. Cooks food perfectly!

Love the cooking power. Just right! Some microwaves over cook and rubberize your food. For customers complaining about keypad wear they need to remove plastic shipping film as mine was showing wear. Protective film fits keypad exactly so hard to know it should be removed. Husband feels door is plastic and cheap and really flys open but we are use to that now and better feet so it doesn't slide on counter would be nice. After 49 years, my Quasar microwave died (wow, they don't make 'em like they used to!). A sibling purchased the larger version of this GE microwave and liked it, so I checked it out and decided to purchase this smaller version. Overall, very happy

Overall I like it a lot. After cooking, it will beep every minute that I haven’t opened the door. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do the same for the kitchen timer. There have been times I want to leave something on for another minute. I have to stop the beeper and reset it for the minute. If I leave it alone after the kitchen timer rings, it just keeps going. Worked great for 22 months

The microwave worked great for 22 months and then broke. I tried to reheat some leftovers for lunch. When I pressed the Start button, it made a pop sound and then a louder-than-normal humming sound. I immediately pressed the Cancel button. I restarted it but my food did not heat at all. I unplugged and replugged the unit and tried again however my food did not heat up. I am not planning on paying to have it serviced because that would cost more than buying a new microwave. Bummer donuts.

A new replacement for an old friend

My prior GE microwave, which I owned for over 25 years, finally died one day so I went out to buy another identical oven because of the stellar service I enjoyed for so long. Needed to replace a microwave purchased in 2004 that only stopped working because I ran it without something inside by accident. Since that microwave lasted so long, I looked for something just like it. Turns out GE had the same model number with only a one letter difference, which I assume was because it is a newer model.
