Disappointed

Our refrigerator is less than 3 years old and no longer cools to the right temperature in the fridge and doesn’t actually freeze anything in the freezer. We purchased our GE refrigerator February 18th and have had it for about 5 weeks. We are happy with our purchase, but we see a few things they could improve on. GE - Lousy Product and even worse Service. I bought this GE refrigerator from another GE dealer and after 10 months, it just stopped working. The compressor died. Unreliable Refrigerator

should've stayed away from this brand! barely a year from purchase and already calling for repairs to ice/water dispenser.

Received as replacement

I would love to rate higher but this is a replacement for a failed unit. It is not a profile like the original (I am not complaining as I was asked prior to replacement) but rather than wait the 4+ months to "fix" the old one again, I chose a lese model. So far (1 month) it has worked well but we'll see if it holds up as poorly as the last one.

lots of room! we like the ice dispenser light and the option to be able to have it off or on; provides nice "night light" in kitchen when on

Time will tell, but so far it is good

We bought this refrigerator to replace a GE Profile that came with the house we bought. We loved the older refrigerator for several reasons, one of them being the Precise Fill function to measure out filtered water. We are disappointed that the compressor went out on that fridge in only 13 years. GE seems to be the only manufacturer that offers a wide open storage area in the top of the fridge where the icemaker is in the door and doesn't take up half of the inside. Okay Fridge

This refrigerator looks nice and has good capacity. It is basically what you need from a fridge; it keeps things cold, makes ice, and has filtered water. What I am displeased with is the quality of its build. Door seals don't look good and already appear to not fit well. I haven't figured out how to check the actual temperature in the fridge and freezer (it will only display what it is set at). My old GE Profile fridge had an extra freezer basket in the door.

Compressor died after 6 months

My fridge abruptly stopped cooling after working fine for 6 months. I had a tech come out and he said the compressor needed replacement and both that and the fan fridge are a known common issue with this GE fridge. While the compressor itself is covered under the warranty, the labor/frion/etc is not and I'm going to be paying almost as much to fix it as I did for the fridge in the first place.
