I decided on this because our last GE profile worked well lasted 17yrs. I believe this is a step down from a profile. The fridge was loud and had a two tone pitch that irritated me and I used the Lowe’s return/replace within the first 48hrs. Broken after only 1 year
First, this is an extremely loud noisy fridge. It is significantly louder than my old Samsung. Lots of rattling and sometimes I’d have to give it a push and it will stop. A few months into having it the ice machine switch broke off and the entire ice maker needed to be replaced they couldn’t just repair the switch. Stopped working in under 1 year.
Fridge and Freezer stopped working in under 1 year. The manufacture warranty process is intentionally difficult. They are only open on week days and their online claim believes I am out of warranty and requires a phone call. There is also a $125 "Trip Charge" to repair a broken refrigerator under "warranty".

Had the GE 27 refrigerator for about a month now. Great looking stainless steel finish which make cleaning a breeze (food and fingerprints). Thus far everything is working fine with the refrigerator. Although the fan that blows cold air into the fridge section is a bit noisy, one might think that the refrigerator is running constantly, but one can live with it.

We wanted a GE Profile refrigerator with the ice maker and water inside and the color Slate. The model we wanted was on the floor, but was the wrong color.
