Our Stove Top looked beautiful, the second week we had it the control knobs started getting hard to turn. Third week two of them would not turn at all. Then the fourth week the whole product under the burners collapsed!

Disappointed
Burners are a problem. First, the labels on each burner are in a soft Grey color which does not contrast with a black top. Hard to read. 2nd, when a burner is shut off and the red heat light stays on the red light goes off before the burner cools off. I have burned myself twice in 2 weeks. I now need to put a trivet on top of the burner after each use to remind me not to touch it. A product liability lawsuit waiting to happen.

Poor Quality
This stovetop has two burners which do not cook food but only "warm" or "melt". There is ONE burner that gets hot enough to sear. The remaining two get hot but not hot enough. This stovetop is of poor quality and not backed by GE. When GE came out to assess the unit, they gave absolutely no solutions to the fact that we were dissatisfied with the brand new product we purchased from them except to offer a 10% discount on a NEW stovetop, which they also would not guarantee satisfaction for. Looks nice when new sadly, but like most cooktops - almost impossible to keep the surface nice. Really wish I had ordered another of your products. Different burner sizes, different knobs for sure. The burners do seems to operate properly and install was easy.

Hot indicators
This is the second cooktop, same model, I've had in 2 weeks. The hot indicators do not line up with the knobs. This tells me there is a wiring issue, thus a potential fire hazard. I would not recommend this model.

Cannot get clean after regular use
Within the first month it got cloudy ring around burner that would not wipe off including with their recommended “cerama bryte”. Called customer service 3 times and had GE tech come out twice but nothing seems to get their attention. No body wants to pay $1000 for something brand new for it to look like it’s 10 years old and dirty.
