Do your homework.
My 23-year-old Whirlpool Gold died and I didn't have time to do my research. Some things you should think about: 1.) On the refrigerator side, the Whirlpool had 3 slide in tubs, the Frigidaire has 2 and without humidity control. No option to move a tub higher up so your most used items are more painful to access. Constantly running, bad insulation
This fridge is almost constantly running with a clearly audible hum which is very annoying in an open floor plan. According to the Frigidaire website this is normal. Also, just a few days after I purchased, picked up and installed it myself (because Lowe’s had a NINE day delivery window and my old one was broken) we had a 6 hour power outage. Not worth the $
We purchased this fridge 6 months ago. 4 months into it, the cooling system stopped working. Took Frigidaire a month to get a repairman out to fix it. The compressor was replaced. It is now not working. It will be 2-3 business days before the repair ticket makes it to an actual repairman, so we're looking at at least another week without a fridge that is brand new. I was told by the first technician that this model has this problem a lot. Wish I had known that before purchasing.

Lasted 3-1/2 week then died.
This was delivered on Sep 4th and on Sep 30th the freezer was at 36f and the compressor was running much louder than originally. I'm guessing it has a freon leak. This unit is in our garage. We bought it because it is rated as 'garage ready'. Maybe it's not quite so garage ready as we'd like. Past 48hrs Lowes wont replace so now a repair tech sent by Frigidaire is coming in two days. It never ends...life goes on !

Nice fridge.
Needed to replace an old Samsung fridge (do not buy Samsung!). This was the best priced model I could get quickly, but I am pretty pleased with it so far. Makes actual ice CUBES instead of those weird half-moon thing, so they dispense much better, especially into a water bottle, and I like the separate ice and water dispensers. It has the same capacity as my previous fridge, but the exterior is slightly smaller, which is nice for my small kitchen.

This refrigerator is doing the exact same thing as the other refrigerator that I bought. I am so angry that I want to cry and yell! Two refrigerators that have the same defect. I just love this refrigerator!
I absolutely LOVE this refrigerator. Our last one which was also a frigidaire lasted 17 years before it started to having issues so we wanted to replace it before it finally quit working. We specifically did not want a refrigerator with a water/ice dispenser but we did want a side by side style refrigerator. This met our needs perfectly. Absolutely terrible product.
If I could give this a negative number I would! Received the first refrigerator and the water and ice maker did not work. They delivered a second one and the ice maker is leaking all over my floor and now I have to have a repair tech come out and fix it. I’ll never buy a Frigidaire again
