Defective outer glass on oven door
This model stove is dangerous. The outer glass shattered while not in use. No one was in the kitchen at the time the shattered. I’m very disappointed that Lowe’s is selling these stoves are defective and quite expensive. I only haomy stove for a little over 3.5 years and rarely use the oven. I mostly use the stove top for cooking. I hope the manufacturer correct this problem before someone gets hurt or killed. Frigidaire has horrible customer support and low quality products. Purchased a refrigerator, electric range and gas range all at the same time branded by frigidaire (two different houses). Tried to cook it 10 lb turkey with stuffing at 330°in as aluminum pan. The turkey was done in two and a half hours and almost lost it if I wouldn't have checked it it would have been ruined Then I tried to bake an angel food cake at 350° on position 5 and I set it for the lowest amount of time the edges were all brown and it had cracked so I thought it was done. Love love love
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a beautiful stove, everything works so great and super fast heating! My only complaint is the black rim around the stove top, crumbs, salt sugar etc get stuck under it and it's nearly impossible to get it out. Some small clear looking dots also appeared on one of the burners after cooking, stove top and pan were all clean before cooking so that's a bit disappointing but it's not super noticeable. The oven is the correct temperature, the heat retains well enough to make great yogurt, and the range controls are high enough that they don't run into most pots on the back burners. One of the front burners is so enormous that other than using it for a massive canning pot it doesn't seem to make much sense to have it at all--certainly not in the front. Seems to be a good unit so far
Overall the unit was easy to install and seems to be decent quality. Be aware that it does NOT come with the power cord so I had to reuse my old one so be sure to save your old power cord on your old unit if you can. I wish the connections were labeled better. I had one small ding on it when I removed it from the packaging but its not in a noticable area so I just ran with it.
