we have had this fridge less than a month. nothing but a headache...literally. its been so loud! ive never heard a fridge make so much noise! the temp has been so cold-even after adjusting slowly-to the highest temp allowed. we moved items on the top portion of the fridge as they were freezing (they were not directly infront of that vent either) now the fridge humm has stopped and the high temp keeps coming on. the process to get it fixed has been a nightmare. a brand new fridge should n...

Problem with Ice-maker

The ice-maker broke for the second time. This refrigerator was purchased in March 2025. Approximately 6 months later, the ice-maker broke. It was replaced under warranty and broke again. The other issue with this item is when using the ice maker, if the water dispenser is accidentally touched water will come out. There is no option to lock the water dispenser while using the ice dispenser and vice versa.

Installation failures

Uneven doors. Unable to level per delivery men. A different crew came and stayed I was missing parts. They could not fix. A repairman then came and improved the uneven doors, however not completely even. He stated that was the best he could do. He was kind and honest.

Would Zero Stars if Possible

The doors were misaligned and within 3 days started making intermittent loud fan noises. I called to return back to Lowes, but this was just beyond the Lowes 48 hour return policy. Technician came out and realigned the doors, still not perfect but I can live with it. The refrigerator was not making noise when the technician came out. Nothing was done. Afterwards when refrigerator made noise, I took a video and emailed it to Frigidaire. New fan motor was ordered. In the meantime the refrigerator...

Adequate choice

I have had this fridge for almost two weeks. It is the same brand and very similar to what was replaced. The ice maker is louder than our prior model. This model also has fewer "coldness" settings and it needs to be on "coldest" for my fridge thermometer to register 40 average, but then items on the top shelf freeze. But as our old one no longer filtered water, and the freezer condenser was not working well, this replacement was needed.

Very Loud After 8 Months of Use

I ignored all the reviews about how noisy this was. I’ve had it 8 months and can’t believe how much louder it’s gotten. I shouldn’t have to call for service in the first 8 months but it’s getting worse now. It sounds like the motor is struggling every time it clicks on. The air filter needed to be replaced after 2 months and the water filter after 6 months. Went bad in under two years

Biggest waste of money I’ve spent. Nothing but trouble after the first year. Compressor won’t even turn on. Evaporator fan kept clogging with ice and the freezer was empty.

Doors are about half an inch different. No drip pan for the water/ice. Chased 200 over stainless steel to get white. I think mine should have been 200 less.

Refrigerator does not keep food cold enough

Despite being on lowest setting, refrigerator only cools to about 40 degrees. Cannot keep condiments or dairy long term before they go bad. Do not recommend.
