I bought 3 of these for our house and they work great! I am curious about one thing…I couldn’t go to sleep one night and happened to look up at the ceiling and thought I saw a flashing red light. It turned out that it was this smoke and carbon detector, but it wasn’t making any sound. Is this normal and if so why does it flash red and not make a sound??

Only 1 of 2 is the correct item.
This order is simple. It should have been 2 of the same item. The order arrived, but only 1 item was the Combination (Smoke & Carbon Monoxide) Detector. The 2nd, incorrect item, was just a Smoke Detector.

Good value, work well
Put them in bedrooms since you need CO detectors anywhere you sleep. They come with no individual boxes, which is kind of expected. Comes with the 3 adapters you need to plug them in. You can leave the orange wire as is and it works to interlink the detectors wirelessly, or you can strip it and connect it to your home's dedicated interlink line. I stripped them since we have a dedicated line.
