Works Great with our Trane HVAC System
Cheap filters whistle and whoosh. This is our third year of using these filters and you wouldn't even know our HVAC system is running. They are so quiet and they are collecting pollen, dust and other airborne particles. I replace them every quarter. Four filters a year.

Poor packaging
I purchased the #1550 accordion style 16x25x4 inch filter. The packaging is terrible. Every side of the filter was glued to the cardboard packaging. I ended up having to tear each glued section which caused the filter to bend and white padding to pull out like a cotton ball. I previously have used Aprilaire filters, but they discontinued the style I use. This filter’s quality is a poor substitute . Try to have one of your employees open the filter box and you will see what I mean. I can’t belie...

Extremely beneficial for my allergies
Upon advice from my doctor to purchase a better a/c filter, I researched and purchased two of these. We quickly noticed a difference in the air quality, my headaches and sneezing are much better now. I am allergic to dust mites and my cats dander - I am extremely impressed. When I clean, there is far less dust accumulated on surfaces in my house which is lovely. Reduced quality
For years I have been using these filters and they fit snug. Now 3M has reduced the size and now the filter is loose inside intake and each furnace start and stop the filter makes a noise from the suction pulling filter up when on then falls down when off. Disappointed with companies reducing product quality especially 3M. I have to use duct tape to hold filter in place which is 3M also and it used to stick better for years and now I have to use more tape to hold due to this product quality also...
