There are many things I like about this cooktop! Low profile depth. The fact they supply BOTH Natural Gas & LP conversion nozzles!! Also like that they supplied new gas regulator - also convertible to LP. The regulator didn't need "adjustment" for the proper gas type but you do need to flip an internal rod but it's very simple. What I didn't like was the instructions to do the regulator conversion weren't quite as clear as I would have liked. Better description and diagram or pictures would have...

Lowes sells this item but does not offer any of the necessary fittings, hoses, or regulator specifically for this item. I tried the hose and regulator from another gas cooktop that I have but it almost caused an explosion. When viewing the item online, there are no links or mentions of ability to purchase correct hose and fittings specifically for this item. Temperamental burner assemblies
The first unit didn't work after installation and I waited two weeks on shipping for the replacement. It's very attractive but the burners are temperamental. The crowns have to be placed just so, or the burners won't light even though gas is coming up. Took awhile to figure that out.
Reduce space
It's very small for 5 burners you can only use it for 3 pots max at the same time nothing else fit, and the knobs in front take up a lot of space, other than that the stove works very well.
Less expensive does not always mean less quality!

I rarely write reviews and only when they are glowing.This is a different matter. I'm repeatedly disappointed and somewhat angry every time I use the cook top. While the design and appearance are top of the line, operationally it fails terribly. 1) The dials for the flames are either full blast or low... with nothing in between. You have no ability to moderate them in between. 2) The back right burner lights on occasion but not consistently as it does not appear to consistently get the gas...
Nice looking cooktop at a great price
When our old glass cooktop shattered we needed a replacement fast. Most of my kitchen appliances are white with the exception of our stainless steel refrigerator. Crappy materials on stovetop
I purchased in October 2023 and have had the escutcheons replaced once due to cracks. Now the escutcheon's silver paint is fading to black. The lettering on the stovetop has faded off so much so, I can't read the temp of the burners and the name "Empava" is almost faded off. I have only used Dawn and warm water for cleaning.
