What Customers Are Saying
The electric snowblower offers impressive power and performance, capable of handling heavy, wet snow and throwing it up to 65 feet. It provides long battery life, allowing users to clear their entire driveways and sidewalks on a single charge, even in heavy snow conditions. The machine features convenient and easy-to-use controls, including heated handles and LED lights, as well as quiet operation and no gas/oil maintenance requirements. While some users noted the sensitivity of the chute controls and the need to get accustomed to the control layout, the snowblower is widely regarded as a high-quality, durable, and efficient electric snow removal solution.

Here’s a short review you can use: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **Powerful and Easy to Use!** The EGO POWER+ 28" snow blower is powerful, quiet, and handles heavy snow surprisingly well. I love the self-propelled drive, heated handles, easy chute controls, and not having to deal with gas or oil. It’s a little pricey, but the convenience and performance make it worth it. Definitely a great choice for tough winters!

Blown away!
I waited 3 months to review this blower to give a more honest evaluation. I'v never understood EGO's reference to snow clearing based on a number of cars. What I can tell you is that my drive is 2 cars wide and 150' long, plus a 25" X 25' apron, and a 25' walkway. So far this winter I'v used this blower about 10 times with varying amounts of snow (I live in upper Michigan with a lot of snow). Only once did I drain the batteries and that was because I had to go over part off the drive twice. ...

This is the one!!!
Quick backstory, I’m a 58 year old woman whose husband works away and who lives in a house with a driveway that’s 2/10th of a mile long, a house that’s 75ft long with a back patio and front porch, all of which is on a dead end drive surrounded by fields. I get tons of blowing drifting snow when storms roll in. The husband told me for years to get a snowblower and this year I finally listened to him, lol. I researched for weeks. I compared models, read reviews, watched videos, and waited for sale...

Surprising great experience with the Ego!
I have owned this Ego 28" Snowblower with the 2 included 12 amp hour batteries for 2 months now and I've got 5 uses on it so far. Most of the storms have been smaller storms of about 3-6" heavier wet snow with the last storm 12" of lighter fluffy snow. One thing that you will not have to worry about is power! My previous snowblowers have been 8 and 9 hp briggs blowers and they don't compare to the battery power of this snowblower. This is a beast as far as power for throwing snow and also travel...

Ego Power Snowblower +56V 28 inch with 2 12.0Ah b
I purchased this one as my 30 year old Honda tracked 28 inch had the gear box give out and do not have place to repair it with a storm coming. This was put together by Canadian tire so cannot comment on the assembly process. So far I have used this on light and medium snow with some of end of driveway stuff anywhere from 5c to 15cm. At first it was hard to get used to the controls but after a while the experience got better. So for the pros and cons. Some cons are just annoying. The batterie...

No Snow Yet
I do live in northern MN but even here there's no snow! The machine looks good and in a quick test drive everything worked. Check in after new years and I will know more

Wonderful beast of a machine
I am very happy with this snowblower. It is wide, powerful, fast and works well. I won’t go over the specs because that is all online already, I want to discuss how it is controlled and how that could be made even better. One can alter the speed of the second stage, this is a great feature as it means you can save power when you don’t need the 2nd stage to be screaming away at top speed. This feature demands an additional control input that other blowers don’t have. Moving from left to rig...

Ego 28" versus Honda 28"
Unit works fairly well and throws dry snow very far. Have not used it on wet snow yet. I am comparing it to a Honda 28" snowblower that I have used for a very long time, and the EGO unit is not nearly as smooth to use in terms of forward and backward motion and handling of the electric chute. The very small lever to control forward and rearward motion is a disappointment compared to the Honda HS928's tall lever. The EGO also has a stepped forward and reverse speed control, versus the continuous ...

I'm a believer, large electric tools can be done right!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After my gas powered snowblower died a few years ago, I was really excited to have the opportunity to try this snowblower out. I've slowly been transitioning from gas powered to electric tools, and have been apprehensive to transition to some of the larger, more energy needy tools. If I could wrap the rest of the review into one sentence, it would be this. The Ego POWER+ 28 inch snowblower did not disappoint, in fact, it made me a believer. No...

Electric Cold Performance
On the one hand, this clears paved surfaces effectively. But on the other hand I am not replicating the experience of people who are saying "I cleared my 100 yard driveway on one set of batteries." And I am also seeing some behaviors that I did not see described. Performance degrades with charge. The snow is getting thrown a lot further when the batteries are at 80% than when the batteries are at 30%. Batteries can cold soak during use which means that battery performance can degrade faster ...
