Happy with my new EGO snowblower

I am very satisfied with this snowblower. The 10" of snow we recently experienced was easily cleared. The 10 Ah batteries provided good power and lasted a bit more than 45 minutes. I probably would have gotten more time had I not kept the auger engaged while backing up. It's light enough that I could move the snowblower up a 6" step. Love it … with one fixable exception

The Bristle Brush Attachment is my new favorite tool! I got it to use for sweeping the garage, driveway, and walk, plus collecting pine needles and pinecones in the fall. Then I found it's great for cleaning out cracks in the driveway. It does a great job. But it's heavy! I solved the weight problem by adding a support wheel attachment. It both makes the tool much easier to use by supporting the weight, but it also makes it great for use on grass because it's easy to adjust the height of the b...

First time use

Used the blower for the first time today.7”+ and it cleared it with ease. Did it a 2nd time later in the day another 1 1/2” and still have about 1/2 a battery charge left.

Works Well in West Coast Canada Wet Snow

This snow blower arrived just in time for our first significant snow fall. We live on the west coast of Canada and our snow is the wet, heavy kind. It managed the snow, even the berm left by the city snow plows. It was easy to assemble once out of the box, not needing any tools. Also very easy to understand the controls and actually run the machine effectively. With any battery powered tool, run time is always questioned. So far, exceeding expectations. First use about 4” of snow fluffy on top, wet below. It thru snow further than I expected. Clearing a 8 car driveway while using only 25% of the (2x10ahr) batteries.

First impressions

Used it twice in light conditions (~5" of light snow, -15C [5 F] ) in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. The machine had no problem dealing with that. Our driveway is about 30' by 25'. Batteries were still more than 80% charged at the end. Things that could make this machine even better would be to fix the following irritants: - lever for direction of snow cute is VERY stiff. Gone and good riddance to my old gasoline blower.

I purchased this snow blower in December 2022 to replace my 28" ten horsepower, two-stage gasoline blower. By mid-March we experienced four major snow events. One with about 12" of fairly dry, heavily-drifted snow. The second was about 4" of sticky damp snow. The third 6" fell as sticky mixed with rain then re-froze before i could get after it. Satisfactory snow blower

I am happy with the power and capability of the snow blower. The two 10 Ah batteries last a good while and recharge in less than 2 hours on the two 550 W chargers that come with the package. The only room for improvement for my needs would be more definitive control of the chute and the deflector on the top of the chute as I need to control where the show goes fairly accurately. Advantages far outweigh any shortcomings

The advantage of no gas is a big plus for this snowblower. I have had many gas snowblowers and run out of gas, at times run out of energy trying to start a gas unit that didn't want to start. This snowblower throws further than strong gas snowblowers. When getting a big snowstorm, the downside is you will likely need additional batteries in order to keep going. It cuts through the pile at end of driveway from the snowplow easily unless it is wet snow and you don't get to it right away. Lights ar...
