Good weed-eater, a few issues.

Been using for 2+ years. Like it, press trigger, it runs (not like gas that needs the correct blend of gas\oil, pull cord, etc.), it is consistent. We have multiple batteries, so I use a 5amp to get the entire yard done. Several Irritating Issues

Don't waste your hard earned money. I bought two of these over the past 10 years. BOTH broke. String used up in a minuter several. String often breaks off. Battery loses ability to fully charge in a year. If I got 10 minutes run time I was lucky. Spring pops out when replacing string. I've lost 2 already. P.S. Exactly what we needed, best trimmer I’ve ever had

I bought this three weeks ago and have been very happy with it, and using it heavily. The battery Life is excellent. We did get some strong grasses trapped around the head casing, which stopped the auto feed and auto wind from working until we picked them out, but I think this was unusual, and due to cutting some unwieldy vines. Gas-Powered Trimmers are Flat Out Better

I unfortunately purchased an EGO 56V trimmer a couple of years now (mostly because of inaccurate reviews) - and every year I tell myself that I need to throw it out and go back a gas-powered trimmer with some REAL cutting power. However, I do not do it (mostly because I am too cheap). Why is it bad? First of all, it does not have HALF of the cutting power of most gas-powered trimmers on the market. Efficient and fast

I did all my research before purchasing this weed eater. I still was surprised how amazing it is. Being very short and 75 yeas old, it is a little long and heavy but I would never buy anything else. On low this is very powerful. I get edging done efficiently and quickly. Don’t forget to wear your safety glasses!

Bought the kit because my old battery failed

Bought the string trimmer, blower and battery kit because my existing battery failed and it was more cost effective to buy the kit as the individual batteries are overpriced. Had to sell the other items. But even after selling them at a reduced price, it was still more cost effective.

Works nice - feeder & rewinder stopped working?

On the third time I used it, it stopped feeding. I took it apart and did not find any blockage. I tried to rewind the line and it just clicked and did not wind at all. After several attempts, it finally started working - I don't know why. Hopefully this is not a regular occurrence. The battery and strength of the trimmer (even on low) are better than expected. Lastly, it's heavier than I expected.

I purchased this weed eater the first of July 2026. I have used it 3 times so far. Iam a 71 yr old woman I am loving it so far. I have not had to replace like ne yet. It’s balanced well and not too heavy. I recommend it

Good features!

We bought this three weeks ago. The runtime is great and the battery charged quickly. So good to have a tap and feed head that works! It is easy to adjust the length of the handle which allows me to maintain comfort while weed eating.

Great Trimmer, Feels Heavy

This EGO trimmer does its job well and the battery has plenty of life for my yard (1/8 acre lot.) But compared to the gas predecessor, it feels heavy. With my old gas engine, I could do my yard in 20 minutes almost uninterrupted, but with the EGO I need to stop more frequent to rest my arms. Other than that, great trimmer.
