Not working. Hasn't been a year since purchase.

I've used this trimmer only five or six times. It doesn't rain much where I live with exception of the recent rainy couple of weeks so I normally don't need to cut the grass very often. Great trimmer

After purchasing several battery operated trimmers, I decided to try this one. Previous trimmers fell apart, had short battery life with long charge times etc, This trimmer was charged up and ready to go in a short time, It functioned perfectly and I was trying to run the battery down but it took a long time. I am very pleased with the value and performance after one use. Check back with me at the end of the season and my review might be more meaningful.

COMBO PACKAGE REVIEW

Expectations exceeded

I bought my ego trimmer last week and was really impressed when I used it for the first time. It ran smoothly and cut very efficiently trimming the borders of my landscaping. It seemed lighter than I expected given the battery is much larger than my old cordless trimmer. I have used the ego lawnmower for 7 years and have been equally pleased with the trimmer.

Wish I would've bought this sooner

Finally, a tool that starts every time, isn't loud or cumbersome, and gets the job done very quickly! It seems very well-made and durable. The battery charged in about 30 min. I was able to clean up around 4 gardens lined with large rocks in about 15 min. That would have taken me hours by hand! It cuts cleanly and makes my yard look great!

Simple, handy and reliable

Fantastic equipment! The edger is awesome, the auto string loader really thru me. I was so used to winding the cord, this system is so easy. Just read the directions and it is so simple once you get the old way out of your head. No pun intended lol. I have two blowers, so that tells you how I like them. Anyway great stuff.

Very strong and will not back down from any challenge! I am very impressed with my first battery powered lawn care purchase in my 45 years on this earth. The only flaw is the included battery. It is great for small yards. If you intend on tackling fence rows or ditch banks I would recommend purchasing the 5.0 ah battery also.

Beast Trimmer

I decided to buy this trimmer just to see what all the hype is about electric trimmers. EGO is roughly the same price as Stihl when not on sale but since this was on sale along with the battery I went ahead and bought it. I already have an EGO leaf blower so getting a second battery was a no brainer. After the easy assembly the trimmer powered through my .50 acre property with ease. The grass hadn’t been trimmed in a few weeks because of rain but it did the job as well as any gas powered tool....

Problems already

I purchased a few weeks ago and used it 3 times. Each time the string wouldn’t advance and I had to open it to adjust the string. The thing gets tight and won’t rotate. I don’t like it for that reason. The string is what came with the trimmer and it’s causing me so many problems.
