I was amazed at the Power!

I recently purchased the EGO Hedge Trimmer with a bit of reluctance as I'm approaching 80 and was use to the gas "things". I dreaded to use my gas hedge trimmer as my arms and shoulders would ache for a days due to the weight and vibrations of the motor. So, the other day I tried my new EGO trimmer on a lot of bushes that needed trimming and some had thick branches. I was surprised! This trimmer did what I needed it to do, it was highly reliable and I did not run out of power! No aching arm...

I bought this because I have multiple ego products. Which I have been very satisfied with. This product doesn’t disappoint. I have been an ego customer for several years. I did lots of research before I purchased my first product. Even know they are on the higher price point then other brands. These products are very worth the cost.

Powerful light weight far reaching cutter

High power, long reach makes this more than a hedge trimmer. I used it along fence line where tough wild grass needs removing. Cuts better than weed whip down to the base ground of the tough grass bunched.. Can nose the end along bottom of fence line and flip the grass out without touching hog wire or barbed wire. Very good power management for a good cutting tool.. Even cuts fibrous Kahili Ginger stalks saving machete arm effort.

Practical with Wide Teeth

I am happy with the wide one-inch teeth which allow this trimmer to tackle thicker hedges. Battery power makes it easy to handle without watching for the cord. Great tool that pairs with all my other Ego products.

So far so good

Only used it once so far. But it was easy to set up, lightweight, and far better than the old electric one that I had with a cord. It cuts thick stuff like the bridal wreath that I was working on. Easy to hold above my head to do, and keep it level as well. Didn’t have to buy a charger or a battery because I already have those for my string trimmer and leaf blower.

Cord Freedom

Exceptionally powerful with the freedom of being cord free. The battery is interchangeable with all the Ego tools.

Easy to use

I've owned a gas powered commercial string trimmer with a 26" hedge trimmer attachment I've used for years. Just getting too heavy for me to use easily, so bought this as a replacement. Lightweight, easy to use, and I seem to use it more often for those reasons.

Perfect Trimmer

My wife and I always HATED trimming our bushes because it meant getting out our old trimmer, hooking up two extension chords together so that we could reach out bushes and my wife has already cut two extension chords by accident with the old trimmer. Not anymore! Cordless and we have plenty of EGO batteries from our other EGO tools! Thank you EGO!

Easy to operate

Easy to use and gives a clean cut. The slight downside is that it is a bit heavy, and unless the operator is in good upper-body shape, continued use may put some stress on the shoulders and arms.

Great Hedge Trimmer

This hedge trimmer is great. Better than I expected. Easy to use and handle and cuts very well. It made short work of bushes that needed trimming badly and still had plenty of battery power left. I’d recommend it for anyone in need of a hedge trimmer.
