I'd star far away from any of Ego's ride-on mowers. I'm going on 10 weeks with my Z6 in the shop under warranty right now, and am currently waiting for Ego to send their FOURTH shipment of parts to the dealer, the prior THREE shipments have failed to resolve the issue. The best decision I made

I like so many are done with gas run lawnmowers. The manufacturer seal the transmission so that you are no longer able to repair your own lawnmower. Four years and getting by

I've had this for several years now, and I figured I should leave a review. First things first. I like this because it's electric, not because it's Ego. The glaring issues is that they didn't seem to put much though into the frame. When you have a vehicle like this it needs to have some flex in the frame. Absolute beast

I feel terrible I haven’t written a review for this product since I’ve used it for years. I assure you I’ve done far more terrible things to this mower and it will not quit. I had a small lawn company a few years back and put over 200 hours on the machine. The blades were easy to sharpen and replace and the deck was easy to level. Mower stopped working at 30 hours of use

Mower started throwing error codes at 30 hours of use. Closest repair shop was 1hour away from a 300k population city. one month later still no mower, repair shop is not sure which part is bad and is ordering one part every 1-2 weeks and testing to see if it fixes the error code. No timeframe on when it will be returned.

Long term review

Purchased in May 2023 based on an ego self propelled push mower we had good luck with (which just finally had the self-propel portion of the motor fail but still runs after 7 years). Worked well for first season. Second year towards the end of the year would occasionally have PTO stoppages randomly that required a start/stop. Great for certain yards, maybe not for others

At the time of this review it looks as if Lowe's no longer carries these, or any EGO riding mowers. So, I'm leaving this review in case others come by here looking for them. The short and sweet, if you have a flat yard in a typical suburban area with few trees, etc -- you'll probably think this mower is a 10/10. If that's you, you'll be happy with it. I ordered this unit and received it some time ago, but am just now getting a chance to put it through its paces due to extreme weather in our area. We did receive the unit in a large metal shipping cage that was actually quite easy to take apart with simple hand tools, and my son and I had it put together in no time. Havn't been able to use it.

We brought it home, took it off the trailer, practiced without even turning the blades on and it quit working. It threw a 313 error, we had to take it back to be repaired. It is still being worked on.
