I moved to a smaller yard 4000 sqft / location. Decided to go all electric and get rid of gas. The 1000 gives a nice cut, bags well and mulches extremely well also. Just as good as my Honda self propelled which I have had for years. Time will tell if this composite machine will hold up as well. Seems like it would wear out / break quicker than the good old metal machines but we will see. One regret is buying a self propelled in this EGO machine. It's a game winner for power and ease of use

This is my 10th ego product and this mower replaced my gas powered snapper. We have 3 acres but only about an acre that I mow. Some of it is tough landscape and grass. This mower went through that with no issues. The higher torque is obvious. The ease of the self-propelled and size was nice, Probably the only complaint is it's harder to maneuver in tight areas, but that's where my ego trimmer or comml brush cutter come into play. I love this Lawnmower and was surprised at how powerful it is. I like the fact that the 22" deck is larger than my gas powered mower. This mower is extremely quiet for the professional cut it provides. I wish I would have made the choice to switch sooner, because using this set-up helps me cut my lawn 30% quicker.

I've used this mower for a season now and can't say enough good things about it. The high lift bagging blade works great and the mulching blade made quick work of the leaves in the fall. I have a medium sized suburban yard and keep the speed on turbo and I get 2+ mows out of the 10Ah battery.

A Little Awkward to Handle

Would Recommend

Overall pleased with the grass cutting but I find the mower hard to turn. I am also a bit disappointed in the runtime with the 10Ahr battery especially when using the self-propelled option. I have only used it a couple of times so I have yet to find the best way to use it.

I find it to be highly convenient, push button start, features, ease of use. It travels faster than Id use it at max walking speed. The mulching/bagging ratio. My only gripe is the blade/s seem to not hold an edge well, or i killed what ever my kids left in the yard to the point i couldnt find it.

purchased the 1000 series. I have acreage but this is mostly used around the house. but I have heavy vegetation and slopes. This was an easy set up. it has power. Cuts very well and did not bog down in heavy grass. My only complaint is it's not as maneuverable as smaller mowers but I can get around that with my ego trimmer. I mowed all my lawn around my house and still had battery left.
