EGO (2-Pack) POWER+ 56 -Volt, 2.5 Ah 1 -Pack Lithium Ion (Li-ion) Battery

purchased a leaf vacuum and blower as well as brand new battery and charger. only worked for 5-7 minutes. returned the battery and got a new battery. works for 5 minutes or less. Does not work for any reasonable amount of time. Good luck when fall hits in earnest. Now it's just past 30 days so cant return the unit for a new blower.

You get what you pay for

Before you buy a knockoff battery, look inside. Many of them have cells that are no-name brands, and they might be giving you the same voltage, but the ampere-hour may not be what they promise. Although these batteries are more expensive than the knockoff, from a safety and build perspective, there's no comparison between the two.

Works like a charm as an addition

Works like a charm with all my EGO tools; it complements my other batteries as an additional when extra power or long-term work is needed. It charges super fast on the fast charger, and it lasts fairly long for a small unit. I never had overheating issues with it, and it's quite sturdy.

Longevity / warranty!

Just purchased and used twice! Some concern over longevity as the battery was drained quicker the expected / advertised! Also, battery warranty is based on the manufacturer date note the purchase date, so purchasers should check the manufacturer date prior to purchase as the manufacturer date is significantly earlier than the purchase date!

Ego 2.5 Amp

Great battery for using with the hedge trimmer, string cutter, and others because it is light weight but still has a good amount of run time. The gauge is accurate and reliable. battery lasts a long time for lighter work

Very good batteries

Excellent batteries, I have a snowblower with 4, 5 amp/hr batteries. I do both sides of the block sidewalk along the street with a few getting their entire driveways and residential sidewalks done. One battery blows my large yard completely free of leaves.

Great Tool WhenThe Battery Holds a Charge

Used the battery on two times and it has failed to charge or hold a charge since then. Very frustrating. Tried calling EGO support and waited 30 minutes in queue before leaving my number flr a call back. They valled backed 18 hours later when I was on a flight. Love the tool, but the battery has sucked! Thus, I cannot use the tool.

VERY GREAT BATTERY LIFE

I've been using Ego products for almost 8 years. The current batteries that I have were about 4-5 years old before I got tired of charging them constantly. After I bought new batteries, I was really excited because I didn't have to stop and recharge. Surprisingly, mowing was fun again 😊 maybe it's just the feeling of buying something new. Anyway, these batteries are definitely lighter which I guess it must be newer technology or materials used. They have the light indicator that lets you know w...

Good for a few years, still beats the gas mowers.

The batteries are good. They lasted me for a few years. But when they quit on you- there's really no telling when. They work one day, and the next they get 'red rings of death' that puts it in a status where it refuses to charge further and you have to pitch it.

Forever Battery

This battery is a must-have. Got one with the tool and another one as a gift with the lowes promotion. Charges fast and holds a charge almost too long because my toddler won't stop playing with the leaf blower till the battery dies. Dropped it down the stairs and it bounced off the concrete, but kept on working. That was a few charge cycles ago and I see no difference in performance.
