Love this dremol tool for cutting and fitting small metal tubing. Excellent by far for cutting pvc also. Just like any other angle grinder make sure the proper wheel is seated and set tool speeds accordingly.

I just received the Dremel ultra saw for my bday from my 14 year old son. I was SO excited to finally save up the $ to purchase this saw that I have wanted for aVERY long time. I unpacked it from the box assembled, added the wood blade and got ready to make my first cut. Great for tile work

I've had this saw for several years, and it has yet to fail me. I read some of the one and two star reviews, and I can thankfully say that I have not had any similar issues. I've predominantly used it to cut tile for several flooring projects, and with the appropriate blade the saw makes quick work of cutting and fitting pieces of tile. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect or all of the smaller jobs... there are so many things that I need to cut for crafting or for smaller home repair jobs and I don't have to get out my big daw every time any more. Wood, metal, PVC, it cuts it all, no problems. I love that it came with all of the blades I needed for different materials, including a wood blade for flush cuts. I've used this too many times to count. Definitely worth the money and then some.

Useful, versatile, saw cuts many materials

Smaller and lighter than a standard 71/4 circular saw, but not really a 'mini-saw'. It seems like an 'intermediate size' in power and weight. None of the blades have conventional teeth, they are actually carbide 'burrs' and seem to grind their way through the material rather than 'cut'. Very high rotational speed; more like a grinder; you cannot safely use your conventional (lower speed rated) mini-saw toothed blades. Unexpected Disappointment - Unable use w/ guide

I was looking for a reason to buy a mini circular and when my daughter needed some work done around her NYC apt I went out quick and got one. It worked well on the pine and hardboard I was cutting, Went through like butter, the speed is awesome. But, what really made me mad was the blue height adjustment knob.
