Dremel Blueprint Saw, Drill and Multi-Tool with Batteries/Charger Included

I like it

This is a pretty good little tool to have for small projects. I haven’t had the best of luck with consistently getting the most even cuts but it is working pretty well. It takes up such little space and packs away nicely and is over all decent for small projects

Stopped working after 10 cuts

The saw stopped working after like 10 cuts. I had some smaller projects that I need to do, but could not even finish it. It stopped working halfway through. I would not recommend this multi-saw kit.

The little saw that could!

I was looking for an affordable and portable means by which to cut some quarter round molding and don’t own a miter saw. I just happened to see this as I was looking and reviewed the capabilities and it fit what I needed perfectly! Cuts are aided by the laser (in fact I’d say it would be hard to use without it). Accurate and Versatile, with Some Limitations

The Dremel rotary tool is such an essential item that I would include it in a list of necessities if I were ever stranded on a desert island. Should be sold at a craft store

This saw is sold right next to miter saws at Lowe’s. Don’t be fooled, this is a much lower class of tool that is not meant for anything more than a few cuts of small trim. I wasn’t expecting a powerhouse but I also wasn’t expecting it to run out of battery after 10-12 cuts. It’s a cool idea but the battery life is a real downer. This is for crafting, not even light duty. Disappointing.

I hate that I hated it

It's a great concept and Dremel was so close to having a good product but after using it for 2 days on a project I absolutely hated it and would rather continue to do my projects hand sawing. There's great features but some things that are a deal breaker. The saw isn't as powerful as they claim. After 2 or 3 cuts on poplar the saw would stop and I would have to cut slowly to get through also the battery would drain fast after that. Very limited on size with bevels and 45° miters. Great for Small Spaces

The Dremel Blueprint is a cute, compact, versatile system! Everything you need fits inside the case, and aside from the battery needing to be charged, you're ready to saw immediately upon opening, as the case itself is the saw table with built in guide rails and miter angle. Great . . . until disappointed

The blueprint 12V compact saw kit is a great concept and very useful for small projects. It was working great . . . until the blade guard broke off while cutting 1/2 inch wide molding. That was very disappointing because I like the saw. Now, I'm trying to figure out how to return it.

Glad it’s still a Dremel

Although this saw sled is marketed for Life-sized home improvement projects, it also fills a void that existed in Dremel’s craft-sized woodworking accessories (drill press, motosaw, router base, etc.). Now that I’m older, I find myself doing projects that use thinner materials than what construction projects call for.
