My Dremel 4300 was a Dream Come True. Twice!

I was so in love with it, but some druggies stole all my neighbor's tools he collected over his entire lifetime, so I gave him my brand new Dremel 4300. Issues found during unpacking

When I purchase my 4300 9/76 Dremel tool set, the outer packaging was undamaged, and the toolbox appeared undamaged as well. After removing the toolbox from the outer box, I found that the bottom drawer of the toolbox could be opened without the top cover opened. This is not correct as there is a mechanism built into the box which prevents the drawer from opening with the cover closed. When opening the drawer, it opened only half way and then got stuck. Not worth the money

I have used Dremel brand for decades and for the most part they are reliable and decent quality until this set. This is the loudest one I've owned. Even on the lowest speed it sounds horrible. I have another one with the same amount of power that is whisper quiet compared to this one. The case is the best part. Wish I would have returned it and purchased a craftsman.

Grab this while you can

This package was on sale for $50 off, and the package one step below this one was $25 less than the sale price. So for the additional $25 you get a great case with accessories that have their own place. It's much better than the usual black plastic Dremel case. Also, there are blades and other accessories that sell for between $25 and $50 each. So it is very much worth the price.

The best of many good dremels

I have owned and used several Dremel models. I liked all of them. The Dremel 4300 is the best I have owned or used. The last Dremel - before Model 4300 - I purchased new is over ten years old now and still running well - if I can find it. There is the main problem: I lost my last one. One of the few must-have tools in my arsenal

I bought my 4300 awhile back and have used it daily, replacing the brushes twice. This tool is a workhorse, often doing jobs that much larger tools struggle with due to size issues or rpm. Being able to select the rpm is a breeze, and the quick change bit lock makes bit changes amazingly easy and quick. As a Christmas gift to myself, I purchased the 4300/9/64 kit with the carrying case. I showed the complete package to my neighbor.
