[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several variable speed rotary kits over the years with various types of sanding bands, which I have primarily used to sand, trim, or shape metal and wood items. However, I have found some new and beneficial uses of sanding bands. I have found the 432 1/2 inch 120 grit sanding band to be the most useful on most wood and metal objects. However, recently I have been using the band on myself and pets. In particular the sanding band are g...

Get's it clean!!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using hundred's of these sanding bands and I love them. I can't count how many items I've refinished and these band's got the small area's of the items and got them completely cleaned and down to bare metal or to clean paint off of wood. They rip the rust off of meatal and they are excellent for fine detailed or tight spots. I purchase them by the hundred's and they last a long time. I would definitely recommend them to anyone that ...

Reasons you need it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had several of these, a few came with my Drexel 4500 kit and I had also purchased a few smaller kits. The reason I highly rate these, is they last a long time, and they truly do get the job done fast. I had some detailed work that was too small for a router and I was able to achieve greater results in smoothing with these.

Easier and safer to use on my dog's than clippers
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use these a lot to trim my Golden Retriever 's nails. My dog is very sensitive to this procedure and it allows me to approach the task carefully as opposed the the clipper method. The clippers are too prone to quicking the actual pulp of the nail. The sanding band allow the easy shaping and de-burring the nail and prevent splitting the nail by catching on fabric or rugs, I use it with the flex cable.

fast results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I definitely prefer the Dremel sanding over other sanders because the results are so much faster, the sand paper doesn't clog up as easily as other products do, and it can fit in tight places where it's difficult even for hand sanding to take place. Thank you, Have a great day and stay safe.

Works well with a light touch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like using this sanding band, the size makes it very easy to use in many applications. I’d love to have it available in many different grits as the 60 grit is coarse and can create too much removal if you don’t use a light hand.

Even the Dogs Like It!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We raise and show Pembroke Welsh Corgis. Part of the conformation process it to show a dog's nails as clean and trim. The 120 Grit Sanding Band works great for that. As much as ANY dog tolerates their nails being "Dremeled," the 120 grit band works the best I've found.

Personal Hygiene Sanding Bands
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] During a visit to a Podiatrist he used his Dremel battery power Rotary tool to “sand” my rough spots on my heals. My wife and I both now use our rotary power tool to keep that thick rough skin under control.

Sanding accessory
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this a few times. It works well…maybe a little too well. It’s difficult to keep it from sanding too much into your workpiece. I’m sure an attachment would help but didn’t have the money at the time

In my toolbox all the time
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use the sanding bands quite a lot. I'm learning to do more detailed shading and sanding with it. I keep a supply in my tool kit all the time for different woods, etc. I'm saving to get a fancier tool that has more variable speeds, etc.
