Looks nice, but..

I really like the look of this shower door and it slides nicely. What I don't like is the sliding door sits higher than the front edge so water is constantly getting on the floor outside of the tub. My installer and I both tried to adjust so it sits lower but there isn't any way that I know of. So I'll spend the rest of my time in this house wiping up water from the floor tile every time this shower is used. Purchased as part of full bathroom remodel by Lowe's in 2014. Looked and worked great for several months. Before long, the glass became more difficult to get completely clean of water stains. Updated shower door

First off, the box the door comes in is large. Had to leave the tailgate down in my full size pickup truck. It goes without saying that it is better to back up to the house door, open the box, and unload the parts separately. I liked the look of the doors which is why I decided to give them a shot. I’m a remodeling pro so I talk was fairly straight forward. Not sure how a do it your welder would feel. I recently remodeled a bathroom and decided on this door set, mostly because of the lack of track along the top (I'm tall). The install looked daunting to my contractor based on all of the parts but he was able to get it installed in 2-3 hours. It looks great, slides nicely. I'm super happy with it. Great Door! Looks fantastic

We love this door. Installed it myself with help from my wife. Looks very clean. I used white Gorilla Glue heavy duty construction glue on the bottom track and did not drill my cast iron tub. I had read another web site and others had done that and it worked well. I put weights on the track and let it sit for 24 hours. The L Bracket and wall track give it enough support IMO. Let me start by suggesting that you read Lowe's description for this item very carefully to save yourself the hassle of ordering the wrong configuration. These doors come with an L bar for left or right installation and is not reversible. Looks classy and was easy to install.

My wife and I are 63 and we installed it in 2 hours. Most of that time was drilling holes into porcelain tile and porcelain steel tub. Yes you can drill through a porcelain steel tub to mount the bottom rail. Using duct tape a porcelain drill bit and a metal bit it was easy. This is our second door we bought from Dreamline. High Quality Product

What a beautiful fixture. Very high quality and quite heavy. The glass is thick and the hardware is superior. I installed this item on my own in about three hours. I read the installation manual twice before beginning and was very impressed with the clarity of the instructions. I would definitely buy this again and wish I had purchased this first. Flawless operation and not one drop of water outside the shower area.

DreamLine Mirage LH alt mount

Worked great mounted on porcupine tub in small bath room. Had to add support for the top left hand chrome bracket because of lack of wall support. Used a 3" 90 Degree steel brace to accommodate only partially existing wall normally required for top stationary glass panel chrome brace. Worked perfectly. Excellent installation instructions. Solid construction. 5 Hrs. one experienced man.
