Wrong Color

I ordered and paid the higher price to get this shower door with black matte trim to match all the other accessories and trims in my newly remodeled bathroom. The shower door took a couple of weeks to be delivered but still within the timeframe for the contractors to complete the job on time. Heavy glass doors

These doors are really heavy, and currently, difficult to slide for us seniors. Hope we can adjust rollers to compensate. There is one scratch in the glass, which could have been my incompetent contractor or could have been because the shipping box was ripped to shreds. Since it took 5 weeks to arrive, we accepted as is.

Waste of time and money

Don’t buy for what you pay for this shower door it’s not worth! The wall profiles have to be siliconed on and tape to hold and left to cure so there’s one day!! Then the next day you have to finish assembly of the door and silicone the perimeter and wait to cure so it will take at least three days before you can use your shower. So if you’re a contractor installing this it’s hard to make any money on!! Not a good system at all.

Leaks

We had a licensed contractor install this for us. The door is very nice but there appears to be a design issue. The gap at the base of the door is probably less than a 1/4” but evidently is enough for water to splash over the threshold and onto the floor. Not sure if this has been addressed by the manufacturer. Everything else seems fine.

Glass Exploded, Will Not Honor Warranty

I had the Essence shower door installed by an experienced, licensed contractor in October 2021 as part of an extensive home renovation. Now in March of 2026 one of the doors spontaneously exploded shooting shards and fragments of glass in the shower and the room. The shower was not in use and at ambient temperature. Glass Panel Issue

Install was relatively simple. Panels are heavy - suction cups recommended to move panels. The hardware looks good and appears to be good quality. Our issue is that one of the glass panels appears to have slight twist to it. Because of this the door will not fit into the lower receiver next to the wall without pushing or pulling the door to line up with the bottom track. The other glass panel does not have this problem. Follow their detailed instructions

It's a nice heavy duty door and looks good. For the price it is a decent value considerably cheaper that a Kohler that was waiting to be manufactured because of a glass shortage. It is not as easy to install as a Kohler. It would have been so much easier to install and mark and drill the necessary holes if they had thought to just make a simple template for lay out of the holes instead of trying to measure out exactly 1 1/16 inch as required.

I ordered the item , It showed next day after completing payment it changed for 2 weeks and order was delivered 3 weeks later without communication or anything
