I like the clean, classic look, great in a 1940s bathroom. The first one I got I removed the filter because I have a well and grit often comes out in a rush after turning the water back on, and then it leaked like crazy. Uninstalled it, took it back to Lowe’s, exchanged it for a new one, reinstalled (without removing the filter) and it’s been working fine.

Functionally it's fine, but there are issues

As far as the functionality goes, this is a fine faucet for the price. My sister bought three and tasked me with installing them - here are the issues I found: 1) Misprint in the instructions. The instructions are for several models of faucet, some with a metal drain and some with a plastic drain. The instructions say to go to Step 3 if it's a metal drain and go to Step 4 if it's a plastic drain. However, Step 4 shows instructions on where to check for leaks. I had one of these installed a few years ago and decided that it would be more cost effective to replace my old one rather than replace just the parts as it would have cost the same. Upon opening this one, compared to the same model from a few years ago it was much lighter, the brass pieces have been replaced by plastic.
