Our guest bath was always giving us a headache before we decided to try this Delta bath faucet set. The bolt would come loose weekly on the handle, the shower head leaked more water than it sprayed, and the control on the bath faucet was a pain to release. As a weekend DIY'er, I was not privy to the fact that Delta does not have retrofit kits. According to the tech support agent, they started making their proprietary valve in 2006. The box should tell you this is for new builds or that you have to change the plumbing out completely. Plastic- very disappointed
I bought this unit because I have the sink faucet and it has held up well over the past year. Since the Archdale sink faucet is solid metal and the specifications sheet indicated these pieces were metal, I expected the matching tub/shower unit to be similarly built. Unfortunately, the shower head and tub faucet are plastic. Very cheap feeling and not worth the price. Time to return and start over.

Just installed this june of 2025 in a guest bath. The drain is already peeling its finish. Not made to withstand normal conditions.

Defective Product Caused Leaking in Wall
I purchased this tub spout from Lowes in January it is now April. I went under my house and noticed it was leaking. Found out this brand new tub spout combo I just spent $200 on was the cause of the leak. Tried to return/ exchange the product to Lowes but they would not accept it even with my receipt.
