Spot on aluminum porch rails.

Thus far the product seems to be just what I wanted. It will be a while before I can complete the job, however, the rails are lightweight, easy to work with, and easy to install.

Very nice

I installed about fifteen of these with the coordinating posts. I love that they are preassembled. It makes things go so much more quickly. I also really like that the individual balusters don't rattle. They are locked in there very nicely. The instructions were very good and if you follow them, you will have no troubles. We were a little worried about how solid they would feel being surfaces bolted vs. being a post sleeve but they feel unbelievably sturdy. I love that because they are me...

Great Fence Kit

Product itself was fantastic, which is why I’m giving 5 starts. Lowe’s buying experience was a disaster- I had to return 3x for them to get it right. Hardware was missing from fence kit, and they gave me posts missing parts (clearance) even though I paid full price. (Store pickup at Ridge Hill in Yonkers)

Not 6’

Bought these as I needed a 6’ rail to go between posts…then went to install only to find out that they have the measurement in big font that it is 6’, but smaller font saying that measurement includes posts, which are not included. So now I have to special order 8’ at a much more expensive price to chop them down to 6’

Looks nice. hard install. lack long term stability

I am a general contractor. I have installed many railings. These looked great in the end, however, the instructions were poor, and the part design was poor, main aluminum tubing was good quality. This made for longer than a usual installation and what may not stand the test of time. The section installed included approximately 15ft of flat sections with one 90 degree turn, one 4ft stair section (45 degree slant)). This included many custom cuts for lengths (nice and easy to cust with a Sawzall...

Alternative use

I like the railing. I wasnt too fond of the price. I used it to modify a decorative metal landscaping bridge for my wife. She needed a hand rail to safely cross the bridge. It worked great for this purpose. I simply drilled holes in the railing to match the metal bridge structure snd secured it in three places with appropriate bolts. We are hsppy with the results. I painted the bridge to match the railing finish. This is a well made product and i recommend it to anyone looking for sturdy...

Great Product But Be Warned!

For the money this is an incredible value. It's rugged, well-designed and easy to put up. BUT! If you need to cut a panel, YOU WILL NEED MORE BRACKETS. And Lowe's, for some reason, is inconsistent in stocking brackets. So if you need some, they'll charge through the nose to have them delivered to the store. Also, three of the panels I bought were missing brackets because people bought the panel, stole the brackets out, and then returned them. Lowe's could easily solve this issue by just stocking...
