Excellent Grinder - Only Grinder I Use Now!

I am a full-time welder and fabricator and grinders are used all day every day in my shop. I always have 4 grinders on hand, wire wheel, flap disc, grinding wheel and cutting wheel so I'm ready for whatever the part I'm working on needs. With that said I got really sick and tired of the cords all over the place which encouraged me to look into some cordless options. 2 Unknown parts not in the manual.

Ordered on April 4 but wasn't available for pickup until April 10 - 6 days to travel Ordered on April 4th but wasn't available for pickup until April 10th - 6 days to travel about 800 miles from Pennsylvania to New Jersey! Also, the locking flange came with 2 parts that are not called out in the user guide and no answer to an email to Dewalt support after 2 days.

Amazing Grinder

Handy and powerfull battery angle grinder

It's great to not have to run a power cord when you have a small grinding job to do. It works so well that I have to keep retrieving it from the welding dept. They grab it so they don't have to run power cords and it works just as great on small jobs as the Bosch corded grinders they have

Fantastic tool

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had my grinder about 5 months. I honestly don't know how I have welded over 50 years without one. I have a DEWALT 120v. version that I truly love. I don't get my 9"sidewinder out of the cabinet any more. I have 4 other DEWALT tools that use the same 20V. battery. But I think the grinder is my favorite. no cord to drag around, and lots of power.Thank you bor building quality tools.

Awesome grinder

I'm a welder, i do custom fabrications and pipe work and i absolutely love this grinder. Its got enough battery life where i can count on it when I'm in a man lift and i don't have to run another extension cord. As I've dropped it a few times and it still works great, it's pretty durable too. Just all around reliability even on an industrial site. Worth every penny!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So i install doors alot and a grinder is my #1 tool i honestly was confused between this and the 60v but i already had 20v batteries so i picked this model and its a beast i pair it with th 6ah and with another battery on the charger you can run this alday and far as power theres no need to even question that because its dewalt

Good grinder

Grinder works good. Doesn’t lack any power, you can use it for a long time . Highly recommend don’t have to worry about any cords and doesn’t stall out. I’ve had it for about a year haven’t had no problems.

Works awesome

My son used this to grind them off and when the project was done, I had to go hunt my grinder down - he stuck it in his tools and was using it for other projects! Had to get him his own.
