DEWALT DEWALT 8000 Watt Single Fuel Portable Generator with 20-Volt Battery Charger Station & 26-Gallon Portable Electric Air Compressor

Easily movable solid/sturdy generator

The Dewalt generator was capable of running my miter saw, air compressor and just for fun some of my Halloween animatronics with no problem. It's easily moved from spot to spot with the large wheels and foldable handle, which to be honest I was initially concerned with trying to get it off the pallet to build it. Since I don't have a truck I did not have the opportunity to try lifting it up, but it's 200lbs without fuel. I have not needed to run it for any length of time yet but it'll get a w...

Versatile generator - worth the money!

I needed a generator for the farm, and after a lot of searching I decided to purchase the DeWALT DXGNR6500 6500 watt generator. I was looking for a generator that was easy to load on the tractor, and would supply 120 volts to power my basic power tools when I needed to work on our fences out in the field, but I also wanted to have at least a 30 amp 240 volt outlet available to provide temporary power to a breaker panel in one of our sheds in the event of a power failure. The generator arrived in...

A basic, but high quality generator

The generator arrived in a fully enclosed box strapped to a pallet. Be sure you are home when it’s delivered because you won’t be moving it anywhere else without a pallet jack! After cutting away the box, I could tell the build quality was worthy of the Dewalt name. All components were well placed and high quality - no sharp edges or poor finishes. Important things like the fuel switch were metal and not plastic. Assembly was very straightforward - just the wheels, feet, and handle bar. It can ...

A solid mid range generator that won’t destroy your hearing or annoy your neighbors

I wanted this generator primarily to redo my privacy fence, but also as a backup for power outages in my home of which I’ve had several This is a mid range model but certainly has all the power I need at 6500 watts and has connections for both 110 and 220 What struck me most about this unit is how quiet it runs, especially if idle control is turned on. This is a heavy duty generator, so I expected it to be loud and while it’s not silent, it won’t annoy the neighbors either as you’re doing a proj...

Keep Sane & Safe During Power Outages

This is a gamechanger for living in an area that goes through power safety shutoffs. It saved our entire fridge from spoiling all the food we had just bought during a recent shutoff. We can power our entire kitchen and living room during power outages and it is easy to move around the exterior of our home with the wheels and handle. I am a female and only 5'1" and I can easily maneuver it myself. We are extremely happy with this product!

Rock solid and easy usability

Generator is rock solid. The frame it’s in and the wheels make it super easy to move. Handle locks up and down. All the controls are clearly marked. Plenty of plugs and it starts cold on a single pull. It’s as loud as I would expect and runs steady even under load. Took 20 min to assemble and get running out of the box. This will be the go to emergency prep that everyone should have.

Awesome piece of equipment

This DEWALT 8750 Starting / 6500 Running Watt generator has been an absolute lifesaver! I primarily use it to power equipment for outdoor parties and for DIY projects around the house where regular outlets just can’t reach. It handles running multiple tools or party setups simultaneously without breaking a sweat. Starting it up is straightforward, and the performance has been rock-solid and reliable every time I've needed it. If you need serious, portable power for outdoor projects or events, th...

Easy to assemble and plenty of power for an emergency backup for your average single family home.

I’m very impressed with this DeWALT generator so far . Assembly was much easier then I had expected and it started right up as soon as I finished putting everything together. One tip I will give you is gently laying it on its back on a piece of the cardboard box to assemble the legs and wheels. Was much simpler and kept everything safe and secure while I finished those tasks. Another thing I really appreciate is that it comes with everything you need to get started in the box including the o...

Large gas tank capacity for long use

Drop freight shipment of the Dewalt generator 180lbs on a pallet. Thru pure grit I put the wheels on and handle. Setup was a challenge but I did it by myself. I like how the generator uses gas and not a mixture like other engines. While I know that I’ll use it during power outages I can also use the plugs for other outdoors projects where extension cords won’t reach. There are three outlets on the side. Easy to monitor how much gas is still in the tank with gauge on top.

DeWalt DXGNR6500 Generator Heavy-Duty Power

I recently received the DeWalt DXGNR6500 generator. It's got over 8000 starting watts and 6500 continuous running watts. Setup & Build Quality The unboxing was pretty easy . The packaging was very secure, and the initial setup took only about 30 minutes. I spent a little extra time just familiarizing myself with the overall operation procedures before firing it up. Right out of the gate, you can tell it is well-built, heavy-duty, and it honestly looks great. It is a fantastic size that would wor...
