Live that this is a simple tool that does what you need. Corded is the way to go as you have constant power and don't have to worry about losing power as the battery drains or where your extra batteries are for longer projects.

reciprocal saw
I broke two other brands within a week. This saw is tough and very reliable. I love the feature that lets me position the blade horizontally as well as vertically!! It is also not a heavy feeling. I would clearly recommend it.

Reciprocating saw
I owned one before it lasted for 26 years. That’s why I went back with the Walt reciprocating saw the service person at the return desk was very helpful and helping me find this product. I thought I’d ordered it online for pick up last night, but I did not go to checkout. she helped me through my phone and guided me through it with patience and kindness that was greatly appreciated.

Gets the Job Done Every Time
I’ve been using the DeWalt DWE304 for a few projects, and it’s a solid saw that gets the job done. It has plenty of power to handle wood, metal, and other materials without struggling, and it feels well-built and reliable in the hand. It’s also versatile enough to handle awkward angles or tight spots without ...

Cutting floors and floor joists
Needed a quality saw to cut through and old, multi-layer floor to expose joists in a renovation project. The saw and bladed performed excellently! I'd say "like butter", but that would be an exaggeration :)

Amazing Saw
I've had this recip saw for probably 15 years or so, and it has been used hard. I finally pulled the trigger, and got a battery powered one but this thing has paid for itself many times over. I just hope the battery powered one works as well. I only paid 60 bucks for mine. I wouldn't pay $150 for it
Very poor quality
I am a home owner and have use this less than a dozen times for small project. I took it out to cut off a 2" tree branch and it quit almost immediately. It took the covers off where the brushes are to find that two of the segments where the brushes ride on the armature were gone. I sent pics to DeWalt and they said I had to pay and send it in to be evaluated. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see the segments are gone. I'm not going to pay shipping to them and back for what is a manufacturi...
