What Customers Are Saying
The portable table saw offers good performance, accuracy, and portability for home DIY projects. Many users praise its smooth fence, blade brake, and convenient storage for accessories. However, some customers have experienced issues with the bevel adjustment, blade alignment, and dust collection. The miter gauge has also been found lacking by a few users. With proper setup and maintenance, this saw can be a valuable addition to a home workshop.
Customer review summary generated by AI, including incentivized reviews.A fine successor to previous DeWalt saw.
Purchased to replace a very old and abused DeWalt job site saw. Weight and features are similar, portability with the handles makes moving easier than before, the rack and pinion fence works pretty well. More than enough power to cut heavier PT lumber.

Love this table saw!
To say the least I love this table saw. I replaced an older Ryobi 10" table saw with your 7485 and couldn't be happier. No more fumbling with moving the fence around. Your system of turning a knob to move the fence is a welcome change for me. Love that I can now rip a 4x8 sheet of plywood in half with this saw. Everything was set up perfectly when I unboxed it and didn't need a single adjustment. I did change the blade to a finer blade to suit my needs. You guys must have a super high torque spe...

great little saw with 2 issues
Good saw. 2 issues that I've had are 1) the blade angle lock doesn't hold super tight, so always have to set back to 0° after transporting. 2)a part came off the fence lock and now I can only lock it with a clamp. I have a friend who had same issue so it seems common. I think it's fixable though
Good saw but measuring scale inaccurate
Nice little saw full of features and great value for money. Amazing fence system for a saw this inexpensive. However one aggravation is the measuring tape scale for the rip fence is off by 1/32” over 20”. From 0-7” it is pretty bang on, but the inches are slightly less than an inch after 7” creeping up to a total of 1/32” at 20” and beyond. I think there is a bad batch of tape their supplier shipped them as I verified the same issue in 3 Saws made in 2025.

Dewalt QC on manuals and included parts is lacking
just received a delivery from Black & Decker (US) inc. with a single 2 ¼” carriage bolt (M6 width). The carriage bolt presumes there is a square cutout hole to fit into - not the case for the 4 bolt holes in the rolling stand. You should have sent four hex-head 2 ¼” bolts. They should have been (according to the booklet), M8 hex-head bolts, that should be 2 ¼” long. I guess it’s a good thing I went to Lowes and bought the hex-head bolts myself, after we talked on the phone. It’s rather dis...

Its a good table saw.
I like the table saw. It’s powerful and great! This was a promotional happening for the day and it was supposed to come with a stand, but there were none left and it didn’t come with one. With that said, it was a great promotion still.

Solid small table saw
I've been doing construction since the seventies. Worked on thousands of homes. I've had many table saws over the years. I say this to qualify my experience with this saw to this point. The saw is solidly built. Quality is very good, but no bullet proof. The motor is strong and quiet. I have ripped 2 by material with ease. No bogging down. Tracks straight. Fence is strong, being solidly fastened at front and rear of table. levers are easy to reach and use. If this saw fails you, get more experi...
Mobile but powerful
It's a great saw at a reasonable price. It stays in my small, garage shop but is small enough to keep on a mobile base. It's handled every type of hardwood I've thrown at it.

Easy to use and reliable.
I bought my saw used from a guy that used it twice. Basically new. This saw has been great. I use this saw all the time. It’s easy to use never had issues. I do a lot of house projects and this table saw has been my go to tool for all my cuts. I saw another review about the flatness not being great. I looked at mine and it’s pretty flat for a job site saw. I was surprised how flat my table saw was. Great quality reliable table saw.

Great Mobile Table Saw
This is a great compact, mobile table saw. I use both the DeWalt 8 1/4 in and other 8 in blades on it. I rip everything from plywood to dimensional lumber to flooring with it. This isn't a cabinet saw or a high end woodworking table saw. I would not expect it to handle dado cuts or anything like that. It handles everything that I could use it for in residential construction though.
