Provides smooth cuts, but blade quality suspect
I purchased this blade nearly two years ago to complete some home woodworking projects where a smooth cut finish was required. I am not a professional and have used the blade for a limited amount of time over the two years I have owned it. Upon inspection this morning before doing another project, I discovered that five carbide teeth were missing. I have not dropped the blade or cut into any materials that would have created this damage. I was very pleased with the cut quality obtained with ...
Perfect for my needs!
I love this saw! I bought this saw to replace an older 12" Dewalt miter saw since I needed something more compact and to get something with a shadow line as well. The fact that it uses my existing 20v Max batteries is an added bonus. Saw arrived perfectly set up with no angle adjustments needed.

20v 7- 1/4 Miter Saw = Awesome
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So just went out and got this little gem. Haven't been able to put this tool through a full day's use, but the little bit of cutting I have done has me impressed enough to write the review now. First, boy let me tell you how impressed I was taking this tool out of the box. I own the 12" DW779 Miter Saw, and the 10" DW703 miter saw. Honestly, the base, and the feel is nearly identical to that of the other 2 saws, of course the weight is diff...

Excellent little trim saw capable of framing.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I bought this little saw and the small Dewalt stand to go with it, it was with a little trepidation. I was concerned about the ability to cut 2x material with speed and precision. However, I have Relapsing Remitting Multiple Sclerosis and needed a lighter saw for my smaller quicker projects. I must admit I was quite surprised by the strength and portability of this little saw. The one drawback I initially experienced was the splintering of...

Disappointed - Didn’t Work as Expected
First time ever writing a review. Bought this today to cut Dragonwood butcher block, 1.5 inches thick, for a countertop. It could not cut the mustard. I expected more. This was slow cutting and bound up constantly. TONS of smoke. Didn’t do the job. Was worried about burning up my saw (Milwaukee). Luckily I was not cutting to the final dimensions so I can salvage somehow. Probably will get the local cabinet maker/wood working shop to make the cuts. This blade may be good for others but ...
Hello. We appreciate your feedback on the Blade. This is not the kind of performance we expect from our products and would like to speak to you about...
Super Smooth Cut on MDF Melamine Laminate Shelf
I needed to make a super clean cut a 1 inch thick MDF shelf which was covered with a laminate surface. After reading many reviews I settled on the DeWALT 60 Tooth blade which I installed on my ye olde Craftsman circular saw. What an amazing blade! Went through the MDF like butter and left a clean edge on the laminate. If you're going to use this blade with a laminate like mine I recommend that you: 1) Remember to put the finished side facing DOWN when you make your cut; 2) Think about us...

Good - But ... Could Be Better !!!
To Dewalt: There are many reviews out there on this saw from big box stores as well as YouTube. There are several reoccurring comments/request from vested Dewalt consumers asking the following to be integrated into this saw : #1) Brushless Motor #2) Double bevel feature #3) Depth Stop.(For Dado's, Half Laps, etc) My comment in addition is the Shadow Light is really just not bright enough for daylight use -maybe add a double tap or mash and hold feature that would produce enough bright li...

Small project, small cut, solid saw.
I have had this miter saw for about 6 months now and I find that my large, heavy, corded miter saw rarely comes out anymore. That doesn’t mean I don’t love that thing but when it comes to a grab and go to cut up some 2x4s or molding at my parents house or running over to my sister’s house to help finish her basement, why lug the big one around. This saw is built to the same quality as all the other saws in the line up. The fact that it is cordless makes it that much more flexible. It’s eas...

Awesome little saw.
I got this saw as a Christmas gift and have used it so much since I got it. I love the lightweight portability of this saw and the fact that I can go work jobs out in the boonies without needing to drag around a generator to run it is such an awesome feature. I love that it runs on the same 20v system as most of my other tools so there's no need for extension cords and a big heavy saw. Ive used this saw to cut 2×6 lumber up and it works awesome. I did a few remodel jobs cutring 2× and I ran it a...
