Powerful but Expensive

All my battery powered tools are Dewalt and I need powerful batteries. These 20v 5ah batteries fit that bill. They are on the heavy side so make sure you really need that much power more than a light weight tool. I'll probably go back and buy a few smaller ones for times that a light weight tool will be more important. However, these defiantly were a great buy and exactly what I wanted.

Not worth the hassle

We had to cut some 2" X 6" X 8' lumber into shorter shims. No length cuts, only width cuts, and only randomly. It was not any continues cutting. It worked for about 1 - 1/2 to 2 hours. We replaced the battery with a fresh charged battery and still do not work every time. We checked the motor each time to verify it was not binding. Spend the extra money on a better brand.

Lost replacement dishwasher

our new dishwasher came in damaged on 12/21 and was returned to be replaced. it is 1/28 and they cannot find the order ticket for the replacement. A dishwasher worth 950.00 is now lost????????????????????

Precision cutting!

Lightweight, portable and accurate. Having the blade on the left side assures that you can follow your line more accurately whithout having to look over the motor and your steadying hand. Why didn't I get this sooner? The saw adjust easily without the need of a tool and blade changing is a breeze.

Smooth operator

This tool is easy to use and it is lightweight. I love that I don’t have to use a cord which is a great bonus

A great saw and just what I needed.

Works really well (I have a deWalt plug-on saw for years). Friend has one, I just had to have one too!

Bate and switch on sales

Good saw but you had a sale that offered a free battery but you where out of batteries not offered rain check so I had to buy it at none sale price

5Ah basic battery

Grace offer from Lowes for the erroneous BF 4 - pack of 2Ah batteries. They aren't the good packs, but for $69 I'm not complaining. Total 10Ah for $30 less than I paid initially for the 4 x 2Ah (99) BF Deal. Thanks, Lowes!

absolutely love this saw

I was skeptical about a battery saw, but this thing works great, portable, and light. I framed an entire 16x16 shed floor of treated 2x6s and did a lot of sheathing cutting on my old shed, as well as several cuts of random pieces. The only drawback is that it does not come with a battery, which costs more than the saw. Definitely get a 9ah battery to go with it. I got through all that today on one battery
