I purchased it from Lowe’s during a heavily discounted sale for a day. This saw is great and I use it all the time for miters and bevels. It makes precise cuts and I have had no issues in four months. It is well built and sturdy. I recently cut a 13 inch wide board, which is the max. I have it on a portable stand that folds up to take up minimal space in my garage wood shop while offering side extensions for long pieces.

6 bad saws out of the box
6 brand new saws bad right out of the box. SIX!! First had guide rail issues - pitting / rusting and as you’d expect, very rough sliding action. The last 5 all had bad main hinge pins. 3 were so bad they rattled and even the 72 year old Lowe’s employee said “oh my gosh I can even hear it!” Dewalt legendary quality seems to be a thing of the past. These issues appear to be common place now after researching online.
Sets up easy, cuts like butter
Easy to set up, cuts like butter, easy to adjust for whatever angles I need. It's got a bit of a kick to it, but then I'm a 68 year old female, so others might not experience that. I think it weighs about 50 pounds which for all that it does, is not that heavy. I'm using it first to install LVP in 3 more rooms in the house. Missing parts
I might go back and amend this review if it’s resolved, but I’m doubtful that happens so I’m leaving this review now. Just bought this miter saw, got it home, unboxed it and started to put it together and of course there are parts missing. Do you really bother boxing this big of an item up with all the styrofoam, cardboard, etc and lug it all back to Lowe’s just for some missing parts? I have had this miter saw for a while now. Very accurate and durable. Cuts a variety of materials, wood, plastic and aluminum. I have been very pleased with this tool. If I find a fault , it would be the weight.
