I have held off reviewing this tape thinking, "OK, today this thing is going to break." I give up, so here it is. This tape is pretty amazing. It has lasted me a month, and most tapes by now are creased or have a cracked case. I don't buy expensive tape measures because they all break, until now. Overall I really like this tape measure with really only one thing that I do not like. Being a 16' tape measure the body is smaller than my other 25' tape measures which is nice when I am not working with a tool belt. I really like the high contrast black background. Compact and Bright!

The 16’ Crescent brand Lufkin tape measure has all of the functionality you will need to measure twice and cut once. I found the diamond coated end hook texture to grab the end of wood nicely. The hi-vis green fractional number callouts on both sides of the tape are excellent for low light and high glare conditions. Great product! Ridiculously difficult packaging

The Good: Nice tape measure. Was able to extend 136" - 140" on several tries before it would bend, which is not bad! The green type on black is easy to read. The measurements on the back side of the tape are vertical so easy to read when using floor to ceiling. Very unique! Why only 4 Stars? The Bad: I never bring up packaging because all of it is difficult (clam shells etc.) but this was the worst I have every experienced!! My new favorite tape.

If you don’t have to carry around a 20’ tape, then get this one, it fits good in my hand. Its got hard rubber all around for a good grip. Its built rugged, i like that its got metal brackets built next to the lock button so it dont breakwhen dropped. Wonderful Features

This tape measure has some wonderful features first it's heavy duty it's thick and it holds well in your hand it has an anti-slip on the hook it also has a double hook for measuring upside down it has measurements on both sides of the tape with an anti-glare surface I even found that the tape lights up with minimal light if you were in a crawl space basement or under a cabinet. Rugged 16' Tape Measure

I use tape measures all the time for my job and so I'm always looking for better versions. The first thing I did after opening the package was to extend the tape measure to just over 10 feet and to my surprise, it didn't collapse under it's own weight. Very well made, get the job done

I was always one who used the cheapest tape measures possible. This is the first decent tape measure (worth more than $3) that I have ever had. The feel is much better. It actually has a little weight to and feels well made. The actual tape is also thicker than any I have used in the past. Not wider, but actual thickness.
