I purchased this range hood when I remodeled my kitchen. I wanted a specific look and was on a budget. It took me 2 months or research and I picked this cosmo vent. Purchased this about 3 weeks ago and just finished install only; had to run an exhaust duct through my 2nd floor joists. Install was otherwise simple and straight forward. The packaging of the item was excellent and you'd really have to drop the box out of the back of a truck while driving to damage the contents. This vent system is very effective for eliminating cooking odors. Sometimes frying in oil can stink up the whole house. My home builder provided the ductless Cosmo range hood. It has a clean modern design with easy clean curved glass trim. The fan has three speeds and there are two bright lights that light up your cooking surface. The fan filters and the removable grease cup are easily replaced through the hinged access doors over your cooking surface. I use a soft cloth to keep the stainless steel spotless. The glass hood can be cleaned with dishwashing liquid or vinegar on a sponge.

Nice design revisions
We purchased the previous model of this range hood but a grease fire damaged it. We liked the old model but the lights were mounted at the rear of the hood which didn't light up the front burners very well. We replaced it with this redesigned model which has the lights mounted toward the front of the hood which is way more useful. Cudos to the design team.
