Flimsy

Posted before but not included on reviews. This grill is made very flimsy. The metal is very thin. The warming rack is way too low to the point of making it difficult to flip your food on the main burners. There are no instructions on the sear burner or if you can use it for regular grilling. When set on the lowest setting this grill still shows 450 degrees on its temperature gauge. I might have to purchase a different thermometer to test it. Cheap and not what I expected.

I wish that my local store had one to see. Instead I purchased it based on the photos and reviews. A big mistake. The mettle is flimsy and the warming rack is too low for cooking what is on the main burner grids. Speaking of the burner grids, they do not fit real secure and move all over when trying to scrape them off. Great little grill

Although Lowes provided fully assembled grills, I opted for one still boxed as it made it easier to transport. I was impressed with how well it was packaged to prevent damage in transit. This did, however, leave a lot of waste to dispose once assembly was complete. Assembly was pretty straight forward with easy to follow pictorial instructions. Side burner doesn’t lite with push button

So far so good but side burner won’t light with button. Have to use match

Gas isn't being released- even on exchange!

The first purchase, we bought already assembled... we grilled about three times and gas flow ceased and it wouldn't start. Ignitor was sparking. We did a regulator flush. Still nothing. Exchanged it for the same model (also pre-assembled) and I go to ignite- all all spark no gas. This model had no gas flow from the jump! Did the things- Flushed regulator or reset the safety- whatever it's called. Tried various tanks. This grill wasn't in the stars for us. Really bummed as it looks nice. Honestl...

Terrible. Cheap crap. Bad experience with Lowe's.

The grill itself seems to be pretty effective in performance. I like the effect of the flavormax heat emitters on the flavor. Unfortunately, they seem to do nothing to minimize flare ups as advertised, in fact, I think they make the flare ups worse because they hold the grease, effectively pooling it in the hottest possible part of the grill and sustaining a continuous grease fire with huge flames... Pickup was very good. They did help me loading it in my vehicle. Putting it together was very time consuming but thankfully it all worked out. I have had only one time using the grill and it definitely performed wonderfully. This is my second Charbroil grill and hope to have it for many years.

Poor performance and maintenance

This grill does not perform as my last charbroill grill I have to take it all apart after each use to clean it. I never had that issue with my last charbroill grill. The grates that cover the flame obstruct the heat. I can only assume that the quality has gone down on the charbroill products. If I could I would take this back
