Good product
I am not at all happy that my grill was not assembled at pickup. I bought the floor model, which was assembled. When I picked up my order it was in the box and no one knew why. It took me 3 days to assemble.

Disappointed to say the least
The stainless steel used is cheaper than my previous version and the flame distribution pieces cause huge flames when cooking burgers. The plastics knobs wore out in a few months and will not stay on the burner controls properly. I would not recommend this grill to anyone.

New grill with ignitions problem
I bought the grill about a month back (free assembly by Lowe's) and try to fire it up for Mother’s Day. The burners on poison 1 and 3 will not light up (when pressed the igniter button). Took it back to the store and the customer service will not honor my original sales price for the replacement (exchange). Requested for store manager and after a long wait the manger shows up and gave me a replacement (floor model) for the same original price. Took it home again positions 1 and 3 will not turn o...

Order it assembled....generally at no cost.
I have been using Charbroil BBQs for years and years. This latest unit has several features that are improvements. First is the sear feature that quickly puts those lovely sear marks on the meat and seals in the juices. The second is the 'locking' temperature controls that have a positive tactal feel. On a less positive note is Charbroil's continued reduction in its warranty. Not a deal breaker but a sign of the times of making things less robust.

Great product, irritating service
Great product, I got it home and it has worked well. Seems well-built. Unfortunately, they could not find one in a box, so it looked like I would get a deal on the floor model. Then, at the last minute, they found another unit - on display outside in the front of the store. I agreed to take that unit, and the Lowe's associate helped me load it up by tilting the unit back towards himself while I grabbed the bottom and slid it into my SUV. Hot low heat and grease fires
Pretty good quality and like it but I bought it mainly for the no flare feature thinking the heat covers would stop that. I learned on cook #2 they retain the grease and due to burner heat from below the grease fires are worse than my old cheap grill. Have to clean VERY well each time to limit that but not easy. Lowest heat will hit 600 degrees plus quickly. I may have wasted $300
Questionable customer service from Charbroil
I could not get the gas tubes to light past the very front end of the tubes the first time I tried to use the grill. I called Char-Broil customer service and was on the phone over 2 hours, with 3 different people. They had me try 2 different things to fix the problem, but neither one worked. First, they had me to purge the regulator/gas line. That didn’t fix the problem. The last person told me the LP tank (15 lb) was too small, that I needed a 20 lb tank. Second Time’s a Charm!
Love this grill! The top partial rack makes it hard to get to food on the bottom but all in all, I love it. Delivery was a debacle with the wrong product the first time, and the delivery driver hit our mailbox. So we went to the store to get the right grill. We will never use their delivery again. But the grill was worth the extra effort. Great product.

I purchased a pre-assembled grill that was on display outside. Took it home only to find out that the igniter doesn’t work. It was a hassle borrowing a truck to take it home. I spoke with the store employees and they basically told me I could purchase a new one and pay $40 shipping, but they can’t take the defective item back. I really wish they would test their pre-assembled products, or offer better customer service after selling me a pile of trash.
