Great for a begginer grill.
For a beginner grill, the price and material quality is unmatched. If you do not enjoy using or cleaning cast iron, do not buy this product. The reason, I mainly purchased this product was the cast iron grates and steel body design. I wanted a more sturdy product as opposed to the smaller aluminum body grills, which do not seem to last and warp fairly quickly. It has a decent cooking surface. I would buy Any Char-Griller product.
This is my second Char-Griller purchase and my first side fire box. Both work very well together. Rather easy to assemble. Only thing I did not like was the gap between the side fire box and the grill. It would be nice if something came with the either the grill or the side fire box, or, you could purchase a heat resistant gasket or sealant to use. I fixed the issue with two well placed nuts and bolts between the factory holes on the bottom edge.

I’m disappointed I received the grill by delivery and it had dent at the opening of the grill I said something to delivery driver and he said it would be alright but I found out that the top doesn’t close all the way letting smoke out and one grate on side of dent does not stay down in grill I would really like a new one please respond.

I bought this grill last year on clearance sale for $99.00 and it's the best charcoal grill I ever had. Hotdogs, hamburgers, chicken, fish, steak or what ever you cook comes out great. Try fresh corn w/Tony's seasoning ++++ and cajun seasoned fish
Second char griller smoker grill in 10 yrs
This is my second char griller smoker. The first one lasted over 10 yrs with little more than covering it and a spring time coat of paint. If there is a complaint it would be the cheapo wheels and the lack of door/ smoke box seals.

Great! This was a black Friday deal and it's awesome so far. Quality looks ok. It's kinda big. The only thing I don't like are the cheap plastic wheels. Haven't used it yet but I'm excited.
This grill is great. It has all the cooking space I need. The metal is very heavy and durable. The wheels are cheap. Overall the grill is worth the money.

Very simple and easy to use grill with plenty of cookspace. I especially liked the adjustable bed for the briquettes, which is removable to empty the ashes.
