Great grill for the price

For the price, this is a good grill, but it smoke leaks everywhere, so to make the grill even better, get some smoker gasket and line all the doors and opening. There are major gaps where the legs connect so get some bbq grade high temp gasket to seal it off. Now I have very minimal smoke leaking out and was able to smoke meat with amazing results

Assembled Charcoal Grill

Don’t wasted your time putting a grill together when assembly is free at Lowe’s. We previously ordered one from Lowe’s knowing that we needed to assemble it. Upon arrival and unpacking, we discovered all screws were missing. Returned it to the store and ordered this one - assembled by Lowe’s and delivered to our home. Charcoal Tray Issues.

Two issues with this grill. First it delivers with a protective plastic on the charcoal tray. That's fine, but they use a glue to adhere it to the tray that is stronger then super glue. Delivery warehouse could not remove, and I spent 2 hours with goo be gone trying to remove. Second, this tray warps over time. My first grill warped so bad you could not stack the charcoal correctly. Delayed

The grill was over 2 weeks waiting on assembly that never happened, Had to pick up and assemble myself for a father day gift.

Great grill!

Bought this March 2026 and grill at least once a week sometimes 2 or 3 times a week. It does take a bit getting used to the amount of Charcoal needed for the various cooking temps for different meats. I have grilled Steaks, Chicken and even Lobster tails. The assembly was straight forward using the video i found on site. The enamel coated cast iron grates make cleanup easy! The Grill is great but Lowe's under performed. I was told the grill would be put together for free. I waited but they never started to put it together I had to pick it up in the box after two days and pay $50.00 to have someone else do it thanks Lowe's.

I love my Legacy Grill

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's very hard to find a grill like the Legacy Charcoal Grill these days. I prefer charcoal to gas -- it gives time to enjoy the time spent with a few adult beverages. Worth a try…

I like that this grill has a crank to adjust the coal height. You can adjust coals depending what you are cooking as well as based on where you are in the coal burn cycle. Good amount of grill space and the coal pan is large which allows you to move coals around so you can take advantage of the full cooking area.
